The free breakfast was absolutely phenomenal! Great selections including Gluten Free. The employee, Mary C., who prepared and serviced the buffet was an awesome lady! It was the best complimentary breakfast we have experienced in all our years of travel. The front desk staff was also great. Say hi to Mary C. if you see her!

Very convenient location and very friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean and pleasant. Fire alarm went off during breakfast. Toast burned. You may want to change out the toaster to prevent that from happening - there are a few models that prevent that from happening

The cleanest hotel in Elizabeth City, NC. It’s always sold out because all the other locations have bed bugs or just dirty and nasty. The Fairfield Inn believes in cleanliness. The staff is very friendly and the complimentary breakfast is always hot and GOOD. Large variety of options as well. The area has walkable sightings; IHOP, 3 Amigos, Luxury Movie Theater. Walmart SuperCenter and plaza mall about 3 minutes up rte. 17, ECSU 5 mins away, UPS center 4mins away (open on Sundays!!)

Bathroom was not very clean. Old dirty cup was left under the sink area. Shampoo bottles had fallen off the wall and left to sit on the tub. The placement of them in the shower is horrible. I can see why they have been knocked off the wall. Breakfast was good and staff was very nice.

The hotel and staff was very good, the room was nice and new. Location was also excellent and the Mexican Restaurant next door was a great option. Our only complaint was we did not know we had to request to have our room cleaned, we were out the entire day and returned to a uncleaned room with no new towels. If we had known we would have at least hung up our towels to use the following day. The night staff provided us with new towels and said its been this way since covid. I think it should be posted in the room somewhere that if you are staying more than one night you have to request housekeeping to tidy up the room and provide additional towels. But for the most part this was an excellent hotel.
