I enjoyed my short stay at Verandah. The staff were great, good customers service and make sure you enjoy your visit. The drivers are always willing to take you to whatever your destination and they are very patient. The bartenders were great, along with the breakfast crew, dining crew and staff at beach grill.

The staff was amazing and catered to your needs . Rasta beach was so pleasant . The water wasn’t really swim able. The other beach was nicer . The food was good . The room had a beautiful view of the beach . It’s also a 5 minute walk to long bay beach which is beautiful with restaurants . Will be coming back soon

Poor maid and restock sevice missed oir room severaltimes had to callfor towels, tp and water regularly.and always waited forever. Mot enough towels at pool or beach ever. We absolutely loved The Verandah, (October 2024). We asked for a unit near the main pool, which turned out to be the best thing we could have! Our King suite was positioned overlooking Lovers Beach with a big balcony. We were near the coffee shop, main bar and restaurants, gift shop, and Spa. The Seabreeze restaurant had a nice buffet every night featuring different themes like Tex-Mex, Caribbean or Italian food. We were there during Halloween and the resort had lots of activities planned, DJs by the pool, games etc. costume party and the restaurant had a cute theme with all of its foods renamed gruesome Halloween food names, and they had the best dessert bar I’ve ever seen! We spent some time at Rasta Beach, it’s a much smaller area and more for lounging on the beach. There is an excellent swimming pool also at Rasta Beach, I believe there are 5 pools on the property. We dined at the Rasta Grill there and it was great both times. We went to Seabreeze restaurant most often for ease of getting food and selection. We frequented the coffee shop, there are lots of options available, food. There is a bar everywhere you look basically, it’s very easy to have tropical drinks, cocktails or nonalcoholic drinks. We loved kayaking in the bay from Lovers Beach, and walking around to do activities like pickleball, mini golf and table tennis. The room was modern and very comfortable; nice bath, a huge shower, living area & kitchenette. Great staff, kind and lovely people.

The Verandah is such an amazing place, dining options needs a lot of improvement. Rooms are spacious, almost double the regular rooms in other hotels. The AC needs some work but they have a fan so it works well. The verandah itself has great views of the sea and the surrounding area. Dining options needs to improve, staff service has been poor, we stayed there for 5 days and 4 nights and I thought the first day was just because we was tired and all, but the staff and service are very slow in their restaurants even in their buffet area, most tables are unkept and left to be cleaned sometimes most tables are not even attended too even after we ate, almost clean your utensils because there are times the utensils served needed extra attention from the dishwashing department, make your reservations ahead of time, your lunch or dinner order will be served atleast 1 and half or 2 hours late, so we usually go to the buffet and get snacks first before heading to our reservation. The caffe is great, coffee is amazing and their juices are refreshing indeed. They offer nightly music/band but if you like to dance and party, this is not the place. They offer great water activities just go to the beach area early since the activites close around 430pm. The area has a lot of land, so be prepared to walk, they have shuttle services but also sometimes late.

We spent 10 wonderful days at The Verandah Resort. I previously stayed here 11 years ago and have always wanted to return and we were not disappointed. The setting amongst 30 acres of lush tropical gardens is simply spectacular. The rooms are all semi detached villa suites set amongst the gardens. We booked a Waterfront Suite which gave amazing views over the bay. Sitting on the balcony in the early morning and evening watching the pelicans and other bird life were priceless times of the day. There is a good range of restaurants- our favourite was Portofinos with a delicious menu of Italian dishes cooked to perfection. The quieter Rasta beach was perfect for chilling under the palm trees and walking across the sand to the beach grill for cocktails and lovely grilled dishes. One of the highlights of our stay was a tour of the plant nursery by Charles, the head gardener. His knowledge and enthusiasm was amazing and I felt very privileged that he gave up his time to share his love of the gardens. The feature of The Verandah which tops all others are the amazing staff. They are friendly, always laughing and enthusiastic and nothing is too much bother. A special mention to the lovely Nicole in Portofinos, the staff at the beach grill and all the buggy drivers! We hope to come back soon. Truly a very, very special place in paradise!

The grounds are well kept, the staff is super friendly and offered great service. However the villas are very clean but need updating. It was awesome that they had several pools through out even one steps away from our villa. The food was ok, don’t get me wrong there is something for everyone however I personally was not crazy about the food it was ok.

The property is beautiful from the moment you arrive, they greet you w cold face towels and a welcome drink. Staff is very professional and outgoing! Everyone was helpful and made our stay a memorable one. Shout out to Tehron, Romaine, Alge, Rasiel, Jeremiah, Rashawn and a few other staff who’s names I can’t remember at the moment but they all had great hospitality. The resort has great food and night life. We were able to go to the sister resort Pineapple beach club. Lots to do and see! They will be remodeling the pineapple side and can’t wait to see how that will look in the future. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to be back soon! Thank you so much for everything.
