We really enjoyed our time at the hotel Magic Mountain. The staff , food, and room was wonderful. Fresh fruit, local cuisine and made to order omelets, baked goods, juice coffee, costa rican muscli , smoothies. Comfortable pools and grounds. Would stay here again.

Hotel staff wasn't responsive at all, emailed them and tried hotel.com messaging also but nothing. Person at check-in was curt and not a bit flexible. Included breakfast was ok. Staff helped with vegetarian options. Used the thermal pool but no staff around the pool even though it was before closing time.

Das Zimmer war mit 947 Square Feet bepriesen, es hat allerdings nicht einmal die Hälfte dieser Grösse. Wir haben das bemängelt, aber die Aussage war nur "es hat noch niemanden bisher gestört" und "es gibt keine grösseren Zimmer im Hote". Da wir das Zimmer eben aufgrund der Grösse gewählt hatten, sind wir entsprechend enttäuscht. Ansonsten kann man erwähnen, dass es einen relativ starken Schimmel und Chlorgeschmack hatte.

The director at the front desk was extremely unprofessional and very unpleasant with clients. I tried to communicate with them for weeks beforehand, but never received any response. The room smelled extremely bad. There was visible mold in several areas, including the bathroom and near the A/C unit. The air conditioner itself was completely contaminated with mold—one of the dirtiest I have seen in a long time, and I work in HVAC. Additionally, the balcony door needed to be replaced, as it was impossible to see through it due to its condition, meaning you had to open the door just to see the volcano. The pictures shown of the property do not accurately represent reality: the place is much older and in not so good condition.

I appreciate the staff holding our reservations as we experienced flight delays due to inclement weather. Security checked us in after hours very quickly and had keys ready to escort us to our rooms. Very clean, really good door seals to keep humidity out and efficient AC. THANK YOU!

We were warmly received by the hotel staff, the welcoming and service was truly great. The same cannot be said about the condition of the room, all faucets were not properly working (shower was leaking all night, the sink handles were super loose) and overall there was a humidity smell in the room. But we still enjoyed our stay because the breakfast and staff were awesome.

El guarda de la entrada se quedó viendo y no ayudó en abrir la puerta principal al momento del check in y estábamos con las manos ocupadas. El personal de la recepción seguían hablando entre sus temas y atendían de forma impersonal. El ascensor del edificio más grande tenía partes desprendidas del techo y las ventanas del ascensor completamente descuidadas. La habitación tenia una parte levantada la pared, las paredes muy angostas que se escucha hasta lo que decía los de la otra habitación. Los paños ya se parecían unas lijas de tantas lavadas que les han dado. El desayuno descuidado ya faltaba vasos para service el jugo o falta de esté. Falta de cuidado por estar pendiente de ofrecer más café.
