The breakfast is good. The staff is helpful and able to provide information as requested. There is a restaurant next to the hotel and that is also very good for dinner.

Worth for the price!
Small room but very convenient to the shore and take early ferry. Nice restaurant next to it with 10% discount for the hotel guest. They have their own podium open for everyone for sun shine and watch the stars at night~ ;)

A really pretty property and convenient to the boat tour we had scheduled. The breakfast was very good. It was definitely a good value for hotel with breakfast. We took a taxi a total of four times to get to the top of the hill. Three times it was 20 Euros. The fourth time the driver took us a longer way and it cost 26 Euros. I asked the staff if there was another form of transportation. They told me there was a bus, which we took for less than two Euros. It would have been nice if the staff had advised when we arrived that a bus was available for the short trip. It really is a pleasant place to stay with beautiful views.

Mukava, rento ja viihtyisä pieni hotelli. Hiljainen vaikka aivan sataman vieressä, merinäköala huippu! Kylän keskustaan jyrkkä rinne käveltävä, mutta myös heti alakerrassa ja satamassa ravintolat. Aamupala leivonnaisvoittoinen, mutta silti yllättävän monipuolinen. Uima-allas oli auki vaikka oli jo lokakuun loppu. Siisti, mutta ehkä ajankohdasta riippuen huoneilmassa oli "kostea" haju, pyyhkeet eivät kuivuneet ja vaatteet tuntuivat nihkeiltä.

Overall, Il Faro is just fine. It is not a 4 star hotel, it is squarely 3 star and little things like providing hair conditioner, which it did not in my room, and a hair dryer with a longer cord from the wall to see the hair I was drying, would have been greatly appreciated. However, my room was well cleaned, the very busy dining room staff at the end of the season were still nice, and the location at the marina provided sea views rooms which being in town would not. The hotel is a good value but not exciting.

My husband and I arrived via ferry to the port of Sorrento and walked over to our hotel in less than 10 minutes which was our favorite part. There are beach clubs, restaurants and transportation within walkable distance. The hotel room and bathroom was spacious, clean and had AC which was great. Breakfast is included and there’s a rooftop bar and pool.

Elina was awesome for me, thank you! It was a short lil walk to the lift if needed, I took a lot of ferries, so it worked out very well. Great window views, and the hot lil circle town square was very close to explore if wanted. Great location Ciao

Great hotel. Pictures do not do it justice. We were pleasantly surprised in how nice this hotel is. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms were super cute and clean. I loved the boutique feel of the hotel. Had wine on the rooftop with a beautiful sea view. Had an amazing dinner at the on site restaurant where restaurant staff were so attentive providing amazing table side service. Location is everything, and Il Faro has it. Located right in front of the port and easy access to ferries, taxis and public bus. 5 minutes walk up the road to the top of the city center. Can be a little noisy at night, but it’s just the hustle and bustle of the town which I love. Didn’t bother us.
