This brand new hotel is in an area of Port St. Lucie that is all new development and very safe. There is ample parking and it's very convenient to unload your luggage at the front entrance onto a trolley before heading to the elevator. The rooms are of average size, but comfortable, the only drawback being the entire bathroom is enclosed together so that you can't use the vanity if someone is using the shower or toilet. A small refrigerator is provided but no microwave, and the ice machines are on every other floor. The bed is comfortable as well. Dining and shops are very close, I'd say within walking distance for most people. The check-in/breakfast area has a small convenience store surrounding the reception desk, but beware the exorbitant prices. My husband got a cup of instant noodles that sells for $.79 at Walmart, and they charged him $5.00! The best part of the stay is the outstanding breakfast, which features an automated pancake maker. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.
