Give Chris a raise!
Chris is who made this a top-tier stay! It was only a one-night stay but Chris’s restaurant and Yellowstone day-trip recommendations were fantastic! Also, the view from the balcony was the icing on the cake.

Perfect location in Gardiner
This was the perfect location! Walking distance to everything and the view was spectacular. The only downfall was we were on the second floor and it was very warm and the air conditioning was not working great.

Nice stay
We loved the walk ability to everything & location & so nice having the patio door. Hard getting everything to our rooms with stairs & how rooms are situated. Really nice staff, plenty of parking, rooms were nice.

We stayed for one night on our way to Bozeman. The hotel was perfect for our night, clean and comfy with a pretty cool view. Easily walkable to just about anywhere in the town. Even saw some Elk across the river.

Great town!
This is a very cute hotel located in the heart of Gardiner. The location was perfect in the view of the river was so peaceful. We walked along the strip and had ice cream, stopped to listen to and awesome musician, ate some great food, and it’s the perfect location to enter in the north part of Yellowstone. And the wildlife feels very comfortable to walk down the middle of the streets.

Relaxing Riverside
We had a quick but good stay at the Absaroka Lodge. I love that is was on the river with a patio to sit on and listen to the river rush in the evening and the morning. Would definitely stay again.

Close to township as well as wildlife, great views
Nice large comfortable room with kithenette and patio. Kitchenette had all the necessary cookware, plates, cups and cultery for our home cooked meal needs. Really enjoyed the views and were surprised to be greeted by elks and mule deer during our stay.

Great location and some rooms have awesome views!
The draw of being right on the Yellowstone River and close to some fun bars and restaurants as well as the proximity to the north entrance of Yellowstone should guide your decisions.
Our room was on the upper floor and we didn’t have a great view of river due to the patio being fully enclosed - avoid #235 is that view is important to you. You had to stand up to see above the patio enclosure.

Amazing view of Yellowstone from each of the rooms. 2 minutes from the Yellowstone gate, and a great town to walk around. The staff were very friendly and were able to provide recommendations for where to go within the park.
