I recently stayed one night at the Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City. While the facility was good, the service left much to be desired. During check-in, the staff did not provide us with water or sandals, but my husband noticed them giving these items to other guests.
The next morning, the service at the restaurant was also lacking, and the same issue occurred during checkout when the doorman did not assist us with our luggage, even though he helped other residents. This led us to wonder if there might be some discrimination against Asians among the staff. We expected better service from a Hyatt Regency.
