The stay was fine. I think the photos are quite deceiving unless I missed the memo.. I thought I’d be entering a beautiful large lobby based on the photos but the lobby is very small with the check in counter to the left and a few chairs for seating to the right. What it seems like is the nice entrance is actually additional photos of the pool area up on the 7th floor. If you hope to check in a bit early this is not the place for you. We dropped our bags at 9am which they were very accommodating of and came back at 3:11 to check in. We were told in order to avoid the $27 early check in charge we would have to wait until 3:30 (19 minutes). This was a little annoying since our room was ready for us. I would have found other accommodations for the price I paid or even less had I known. The room was clean but well used, part of the flooring was pulling up and I wouldn’t touch the couch.. it had a couch cover but seemed quite dirty.

The location is fantastic! Walkable to restaurant and site seeing sites like the bean. Unfortunately, the unit is self-had a few issues. The couch was badly stained and there is no fan in the bathroom so there are moisture marks that could turn to mold on the ceiling. Our faucet was so loose in the bathroom you had to hold it with one hand to turn it on with the other. The shower was very nice, strong pressure and lots of hot water. The kitchen was great! The space was comfortable and our unit was quite and you couldn't hear the road noise. Beautiful pool and common area on the 7th floor.

I don’t know where to start. This is definitely more of an apartment than a hotel. When we checked in, one of our units had the smoke alarm going off, and there was no one to fix it so the front desk asked my 73 year old mother to just go get a battery herself. Most of the rooms on our floor were clearly rented for the night for parties, all of the apartments were SO loud and our whole floor smelled so badly of weed it was laughable. We called six or seven times for noise complaints before someone came up at 230 AM to look into the screaming next to us. Then the same thing happened at ny brothers room the next evening and again took 5-6 complaints for any reaction. The outdoor garden was nice but the one time we tried to use the pool there was a massive party there and more weed smoking…. In the pool area. It felt unsafe for our family. Our unit was dirty and just needed some TLC. Hair left in the shower, leaking faucets m, cracks in the tile, broken cabinets. The location is great but don’t be fooled by the pics or the rating that this is a four star hotel. It needs more attention and way more staff.

The apartment we stayed in was an excellent choice for our family trip. The unit was large, clean, updated with beautiful views. Having a kitchen, living room and separate bedrooms made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the park, museums, restaurants and grocery stores. The area felt safe and was very family friendly. The staff were welcoming and helpful. I would recommend staying here to our friends and any family. We will definitely stay there again.
