Wonderful last minute get away
We decided on a last minute weekend to Gatlinburg and chose this location. I was a little concerned, not going to lie, because the price was so good and I prefer not to do outside door rooms. I was so pleasantly surprised to have spotless modern room and the kindest people in the office. It was close to everything and we walked. The room was so clean and had no carpet which was great! The heat was toasty warm and the covered parking was a perk. Would stay here again.

Great place, great value!
This place was such a find in the hussle and bustle of Gatlinburg. It is on a quiet street with balconies over the river. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and quiet, the breakfast was ample.Really a find.

Not the experience I was looking for
When we were checking in, they said the key machine was not working, so they said we could let you into your room with the master key, and every time you need to enter, let us know, or we can refund your money and you can go elsewhere. When I asked if I would get a receipt of refund they said no and to call hotels.com

Price/quality was good
It is a central hotel, has a lot of things nearby, quite comfortable and the customer service regular, the breakfast was not very good to be honest, we also found some hair in the bathtub but everything else was fine. All in all it is a hotel where I would book again for a short stay.

January get-away
The motel is older, but car could be right at room. River is right out balcony. “Fireplace” is a heater in the wall. January was very cold, thin blankets. No hand soap until 2nd day. Dispensers in shower gave tiny amounts. Hot water, great! Bed and pillows, great! Hot tub ran only 1st day. Fire pit, OK. Frig, microwave, space in room good. Hooks, not closet rack. Hot eggs/sausage/waffles/gravy good.

Gatlinburg Creekside Stay
I specifically planned our stay here for the balcony. The balcony is facing the creek and the roar of the water is very wonderful. I was very disappointed that it is not disclosed on booking that there is no smoking on the balcony. It was extremely cold and windy and the only smoking area is a fire pit area on the creek which was like a punishment in the brutal weather. The continental breakfast is a hard pass. The sausage didn't even taste like sausage and the waffle batter and eggs etc were tasteless. They don't tell you, but the coffee machine is always on which is a godsend when you're an early riser and everything is closed. Bathroom does not come equipped with hand soap they have dispensers in the shower that don't work and look very dirty. There was mold on the ceiling of the shower. I coughed and hacked the entire time I was in the room even with antihistamines because of potential mold in the walls. This of course is just my guess because I was looking all around trying to find out the cause of my coughing and nose running. The beds aren't great but they are decent. Request extra blankets because they use thin waffle knit blankets and there is a serious draft around the balcony door. Definitely need to do some improvements and start with weather stripping to keep the draft out of the room. Also it's pretty suspect when you don't allow photos to be uploaded on this review.

No hot water
The hotel definitely needs some upgrades which would've been fine. The issue was our room had no hot water. When we complained to the front desk they explained they've already let someone know our room didn't have hot water. We should've been informed at check in. We were then told if we needed hot water go to a different hotel. I've never in my entire life had to leave a hotel early but couldn't just leave and find another hotel in Gatlinburg the week of Christmas so came home. They didn't charge us for the night we didn't stay but only gave 25% off for the night we had cold showers.
