Not a recommendation
Yikes. We were so excited for the picture-esque stay and were so disappointed. Cons: very difficult to find, do NOT come here in the dark!! The "exit" off of the road doesnt look driveable and I would have appreciated a heads up from the property about the location and conditions of the very rural, bumpy, un named and unmarked dirt roads. There's also construction which doesnt help. Speaking of location, this hotel is far from anything so you have to have a car to get to any restaurants/bars. We saw a menu and were told by one of the workers that someone will be there at 0800 to make breakfast. We hung out by the kitchen and fumbled around looking for the filters and coffee to help ourselves to "complementary coffee and tea" which we made. 30 min later, NO ONE CAME to take breakfast order. We gave up and drove 15 minutes away for breakfast out. Disappointing that breakfast isnt included in the stay, especially because we are so secluded. The suite is VERY small. No dresser or storage really at all in the entire suite. The WIND was so strong it made the window walls rattle non stop so loudly we didnt sleep at all the whole night. We were so exhausted we checked out a day early, couldnt bare another sleepless loud night. The hand soap in the bathroom was 90% water so it squirted all over us, messy! No hair dryer! No shampoo! No conditioner! No lotion. This place is only good for views, pictures and instagram. No gas in our fireplace, had to find someone to fill with tank.

Room service was ok, but they brought our food uncovered which made it cold by the time you ate it that was not good. The shower water took really long almost did not even get hot , did not shower comfortably at all. That was the most importantly thing for me a nice hot shower after a long drive to get there and that was the most disappointing dissatisfied part. Especially on a chilly night. The chlorine in the hot tub was so strong you inhaled it into your lungs I could smell it in my nostrils till the whole next day that was bad, completely burned your eyes with the mist and wind couldn’t help but not enjoy that either.

Creo que el mayor inconveniente, es al mismo tiempo, una gran ventaja, y me refiero al cierto asilamiento de lugares turísticos altamente concurridos, que en las noches se pasa uno sin ruido importante y hasta logra escuchar la marea si hay algo oleaje. Tal vez uno no puede salir e ir por un bocadillo nocturno a la tienda de conveniencia de la esquina, por el mismo motivo, por qué la más cercana estaría a 18 minutos en coche, y tomar carretera... Pero insisto. Si lo que uno está buscando es un lugar donde estar con poca gente y que los mismos anfitriones se preocupan por qué se respete el silencio a partir de las 11:00 PM, este es el lugar. Por cierto, si aceptan mascotas y esa es una gran ventaja.

Loved this place. Aquiet retreat ideal for couples with a private fire pit , rain shower, a most comfortable bed. The host thought every possible detail. They even had bath salts for our bath tub

Can’t rave enough about our stay here. It was short but such a beautiful, clean space. We stayed in Casita 6 and the view was amazing. The ONLY critique I have is that the tub and the restroom both have windows where you can see through. I wish there was a curtain to cover the windows. Otherwise, our stay was amazing.

I give this place a 10 out of 10. Everything was perfect, and very tasteful, and thought out. Very nice staff, softest bed, pillows, and blankets I've ever had at a get away. The view and amenities are beautiful. 2 out door hot tubs, propert is landscaped with lights , beautiful plants. They provide drinking water. With beautiful artwork, and furniture. Over sized showers with rainfall shower head, your own private soak tub with oils included. Projector tv , nice restroom. They provide quality coffee. Close to stores and restraints that aren't over congested with a nice view the whole time. Everything was perfect and very thought out to make you relax, Carlos was very nice too. Making you feel very relaxed and safe. I would and definitely stay here again. I love being up on the hill with the ocean view and friendly people.

Firstly I want to say that the place is beautiful, with a gorgeous view and very nice, clean room. It is beautiful aesthetically with modern/rustic features and tile work. The food was great and they even had gluten free lavender pancakes that were amazing! The downsides: 1. It is not handicap friendly or for elderly people because there are a lot of stairs to reach the residence. 2. There are dogs that live in the valley below and woke us up with their barking ALL NIGHT! We had earplugs and we could still hear them! 3.There is a patio directly above the bedroom and we could hear the people walking arond above us VERY loudly. It was not their fault, there isn't enough soundproofing between the deck and the ceiling- a big design flaw. That also woke us up so we had a very poor sleep while staying there. 5. You can only watch TV with the projector that is in each room. They don't have a screen for some reason so you have to watch it on the red curtains, and you cannot watch it until the sun has set because it's too bright. 5.We had some chips in our room and by morning they were covered in ants. 6.There are also no hair dryers in the room, but you can ask at the desk to borrow one.
