If you consider yourself a hotel close to airport, and most of customers will be business related, then it is the worst you have wifi down for 10-12hours.
All others are fine, breakfast is good. Shuttle bus is good.
Wifi down for nearly half day is not acceptable.

Poor attitude of the conceige staff
無接送 arrived at night. Had to walk to hotel with luggage. Very inconvenient. Attitude of one of the concierge staff very bad. Saying that web site has stated no shuttle service unless calling the hotel. However, one cannot assume that tourists get the phone number at the airport. Also the conceige staff told me to go out to have a look at their shuttle if it had empty seat for me to go to the airport. Very impolite I think.

Kind and welcoming
Lobby staff so patient and helpful. Gentleman asked if he could take a call so he would have more time to continue. He offered helpful local tips for our first stay in Venice.

We stayed at this hotel for one night prior to an early morning flight out of marco polo airport.
While it is advertised as a 4 star property - it is at best a 2star property when you compare this to other marriott properties.
Rooms are very small, very dated but are clean.
For being less than a mile away from the airport - there are no hotel shuttles.. A private shuttle can be arranged for $10 a head.

My husband and I (both in our 60s) stayed for one night in this Marriott. In the morning I woke up and opened the curtains in the kitchen and living room. A couple hours later my husband and I packed up and left. Before I did, I videotaped the hotel room to show my friend how nice it was. A few hours later I got an email from the hotel saying I had ripped down the curtain in the kitchen and had damaged the wall and I would have to pay for it. Since I had video'd taped the room before I left, it clearly shows the curtain was up. If the curtain fell down after I left it had to be due to it's own wear and tear. I opened the curtain without any undue force. I have sent them numerous emails stating my case. On 10/14 I received a bill for over $500 for this damage. I have called my credit card company to dispute this charge. I have been a good Marriot customer and I am appalled of the harassment of the management of this hotel. The corporate headquarters said they have to take the word of their staff vs their customer

Limited airport shuttle
the Hotels.com booking site states airport transfer. The Marriott website also includes airport transfer available. The shuttle runs limited hours and hours should be included in the site information.

It was easy to get into venice and the front desk is really helpful and sells tickets
Local italian restaurants were near by which was really helpful for us since we had a rough flight coming in and needed a break.
