Our bed comforter had stains. Bathroom was gross to say the least. Wish I had taken pictures. The bacteria buildup in the shower and around was disturbing.

Great tios and tias event w/ dj chris villa and staff. thank you bar manager chris at chef LT for the extended hospitality. It was event better than the already amazing stay from my previous stay. we appreciate it very much and love staying here for this event. thank you again egyptian motor hotel staff for everything.

Retro motel with all the charm.
Great little Retro Motel near DTNPHX. Walking dist to Roosevelt Dist and local nightlife. Excellent and friendly staff. Unfortunately it was during the winter season so we didn't get to enjoy the pool and outside bar in full swing, but we dic enjoy the Fire pit.

wonderful event put on by dj chris villa and friends. we appreciate the charitable toy drive held during the party for under privileged children during the holiday. bar manager chris was super hospitable and the drinks were extraordinary along with the incredible bar staff that worked so hard all afternoon and into the evening. the security staff made us feel extra safe and my female guests enjoyed dancing all day and night without any concerns. thank you egyptian hotel staff for another great tios and tias event and overnight stay with the exceptional accommodations. i will be staying again and will recommend to all of my friends and colleagues. great job 10/10

The decor was cute. The courtyard was super inviting. It was loud because it was full of young, beautiful people who partied till 3 am. I was warned about this, so just join the party. The walls were paper thin (congrats to my neighbors on getting lucky). The room was small and the bathroom was hard to navigate. Maintenance’s best friend is paint and shoddy repairs. They painted over problems and spliced lamp cords with their fingers and luck, that was a fire hazard.

cute and campy stay
Stayed here a couple nights. Arrived 5 minutes before check in and was told I would have to wait for exactly 3pm to check in. There was a $15 dollar parking fee which was no problem but was told they would be having an event in the parking lot the following day and I would have to move my car to street parking by 9am (they should have waived the parking fee if this was the case as I was not going to be able to fully use the parking lot for my and the other guests stay). My room was above the restaurant so I could pretty much hear the music they were playing in my room the whole time as well as the conversations and TV from the adjacent room, thin walls I guess. The morning of check out I tried to take a quick shower but the water coming out of the bathroom sink and shower-head had a brown tint to it, I told the front desk about it and they told me they were not sure what was going on. Overall this place is cute and clean and I did enjoy my stay. None of my critiques mentioned were detrimental to my experience here but more-so things that could easily be improved upon.

The Egyptian Motor Hotel is a hipster pad, for better or for worse. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean, decked out, and had all the amenities we needed (beds, TV, bathroom with shower, fridge, and microwave).
