Not like my previous stay
The room was way smaller than advertised which was difficult since we evacuated from the Tampa area for hurricane Milton. The room had not been mopped well which could easily be told by our feet turning black. I scrubbed the floors on my hands and knees to make it cleaner. It was a bit difficult to enjoy the room itself because it was so cramped. Not like the gorgeous condo that I stayed in at a convention in August. The ad on Hotels.com stated that it would be a condo but it wasn’t. It was like a tiny hotel room. The only ice maker was in the next building on the parking level and there was no way to keep it frozen long enough. Extremely inconvenient! Handicap parking was a bit tough for my mom who broke her back so she stayed in the room most of the time due to the distance from the very few spots (4 for two large buildings with only 1 close to the building). However, I did get to have fun at the pool with my son. The water was so cold that I couldn’t stand it but it was beautiful to look at and enjoy in the sun. The beach was lovely and a short walk to get to. There just wasn’t a designated sign for the resort vs the Hilton. Regardless, it was much better than staying through a hurricane.

The resort outside looks wonderful! Inside looks very old, nothing updated, furniture very old, bathroom very old, room was clean but looks very old and smells like mold and dirt. We have to run away from hurricane Milton, and we travel more then 6 hours to get there, because our son is allergic to pets, so nothing closer to us was not pets allowed. We read online that this property was not per allowed, we saw also on the entrance door a sticker which says that “Not pet allowed “ and guess what, the property was full of dogs. So we have to check out immediately, and we request refund. We are still waiting for them response.

Stay here and enjoy life
We made an emergency stay here to avoid a hurricane hitting our hometown and boy were we surprised to find an amazing resort town. Many pools and several gyms, a community village with stores and amusement and restaurants. Preferred beach access with a pool. Even got in a round of golf. Plenty of underground parking. We didn't want to leave. STAY

When we checked in at the welcome center and given our keys and supposed directions the directions were incomplete and incorrect. We noticed we weren’t the only ones looking for the building we were looking for since they were trying to turn into an entrance that was for golf carts only as we had. Also when parking it was indicated for us to park in a parking garage on either floor one or two which was totally incorrect as we eventually found out we were to park in a parking lot. The unit we were in was nice but totally crowded in the living area. Since it was on the second floor above the Wharf shopping area the outside lights were on all night and the primary bedroom didn’t have dark or blackout curtains. Made sleep uncomfortable. Our stay there was because we were getting away from hurricane Milton. Not the best experience for us. At this point we would not recommend your facility.

The views were fantastic. They were doing construction above us and was woken up by the drills. We knew the pool area was closed and under construction, but we were not notified of the construction above us. While we were there no on was working on the pool. It would of been nice to get comped a room or a discount off the next stay but when I checked out and complained about it the receptionist just said oh sorry about that. I would think that such a nice place would treat their guests better.

Yo me que en Sandestin Bayside. Tiene una vista hermosa. La habitación limpia y está decorada muy bonita. Toda la decoración es de cosas del mar. Tiene todo los utensilios de cocina que necesitas, sartén platos vasos y hornilla. También tienen para enfriar champaña y copas. Abajo está la cafetería donde puedes desayunar frente al mar. Está cerca de Miramar Beach, hermosa la playa y la marea tranquila.

Due to certain circumstances. Im out of $500. Misbooked trying to use a gift card. The entire amount was put onto my bank card instead. Unable to get a refund and rebook using the appropriate card instead. Late check out costs $50/hour And several other issues.
