DC Family Vacay
I will never stay anywhere else again. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It was clean. It was equipped with a washer and dryer. The customer service was outstanding. It was walking distance to the bus stop and metro station and lots of dining options. We checked in another place first, which was a nightmare, so this was a breath of fresh air! They quickly helped us get started back on the right track to a fabulous family vacation.

The location was great but customer service was lacking. I completed the online check in process and got a confirmation saying I would receive my access details when my room is ready. 30 minutes after check in time and i had not received access. I called and was told they didn't have my payment information even though i submitted it online and received confirmation that it was complete. They sent me a link and I completed it again but still had to call when I arrived because I hadn't received access info yet. Rooms were up to date but could use a deep clean. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, but the process needs improvement. They have a number they say you can text if you need anything, but I never got a response and had to visit the desk to get help. Our sofa bed had no mattress or bedding. I texted the number first thing in the morning and never got a response. At 6pm I stopped by the desk and someone immediately brought it up to the room.

Apartment stay very limited service
So this is a very limited service apartment hotel property. Housekeeping is only before check in. They did a good job but there was no service during the stay at all. I did not know where to deposit trash. The communication was fine. The lock on the door is a code they email to you. The battery on the lock started saying to replace battery. So I was worried I was going to be locked out. Did not happen though so overall it was fine but little things were a little disconcerting. Just would have been helpful to get a contact phone if maintenance or trash pickup was needed.

1 night 2 women in DC
It was great they let us use secured lockers for our luggage since we arrived a few hours early before check-in. Our room was fine, clean, it fit our needs. I was hoping for a floor with a nicer view out the window. We were on the LL floor - below 1. I felt like we were underground. So that wasn't my preference. Communication-wise, they were pretty quick to respond. I usually like to stay in places where there's someone at the front desk 24-7. This trip, the priority was to be close to the National Mall and museums on a budget for a 1-night stay. Overall everyone was nice - even the bus driver who took us to the national mall. Just ok
Overall this place was ok. Low rating for cleanliness though, because there was a used bandaid on the rug when I first walked in. Also, getting in initially was tricky because I couldn't figure out how to make the numbers appear on the keypad (you have to hold your finger in the bottom left corner). I called and they answered promptly and told me what to do. The bedroom is very small - barely larger than the bed - but there is a good sized closet and a separate living room. Unfortunately, the light in the closet was out so I had to keep my suitcase in the living room in order to be able to find anything in it.
