Lovely Holiday

I enjoy the stay at the hotel. My room is clean, comfortable and spacious. Staffers are nice and friendly. The bus stop to Valletta and airport is just situated in front of the hotel. San Julian's is within easy reach, say 5 to 10 minutes walk. Supermarkets and quality resturants are easy to get. Malta is great.

Good for vacation, can be better w/ some refurbish

Pros: * Good breakfast, you can even sit outside to enjoy the view. * Great to have free access to the spa/gym in Corinthia hotel. * Good Wifi. * With a balcony overlooking the bay is nice, it's cosy to sit at the balcony in a sunny day in winter. * Check-in process is pleasant. You can even see the welcome message with your name displayed on the TV in your room, pretty cool. * The first room we got is spacious (as it's on the edge). Cons: * Found out the A/C heating function is not working as expected on the arrival day, it's just working like a fan and the room is still very cold. Asked the reception in person about how to make it work and they said they will send someone to have a look shortly, waited for an hour but no one shows up, called again and a security finally came. After confirming the A/C is not working as expected, the hotel can do nothing but offer us to change to another room, which is smaller and the A/C is still not warming up the room. As it's already passed midnight, we're just too tired to ask for another room. We just hope it can work in the following days (unfortunately it's not), luckily the weather is getting better in the following days. * The magnetic room key card is not reliable, keep it away from my phone but we still have to change two cards in a week. * None of the power outlet is located above the desk, a bit annoying in some cases. And you got only two outlets available. If you need more you have to pull the plug of the lamps.

Building Work and College Club

Whilst the staff are lovely, I would not go back. They are next to a massive building site which is not expected to be completed until next year and they let a pool out to a language college for young adult's (18 - 25). We were moved three times in our stay.

Okay experince but not a 4 star hotel

The staff is nice but the hotel needs to be upgraded and have better staffing for housekeeping. The rooms are nice but older with only one useable outlet away from the beds. No usb charging. Bathroom had what looked like mold due to the bathroom door not being able to stay open thus trapping the heat in there. Toliet required multiple pull of the handle to flush properly. Rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor are below the reception floor. The first floor is the basement level. The hallway smells of dirty cleaning products and you walk.out of the elevators and are greeted to the view of a kitchen. The hallways are dark and feels like you are on a cruiseship. The balconies on the first floor are level with people walking by and able to climb in if they wanted to. Not a nice feeling or view. Second floor is a bit better since people can't just climb into your balcony. The lounge chairs in front of some of the rooms is not part of the hotel but instead for EF company. So there will be a bunch of young students outside your balcony that aren't hotel guest and hotel guests can't access that area even though it's in front of your room. Housekeeping needs to be better managed. One day they knocked on out door at 8:30am to clean the room. Another day we left at 8:30 am and came back at 3pm to a room that still hadn't been cleaned. There excuse was that they were fully booked and prioritized rooms that were being turned over. This poor scheduling of staff or they are short staffed.

Fint opphold

Hotellet har fin beliggenhet langs sjøen, kanskje best av alt- mange nok parasoller og solsenger til at ingen på hotellet stormer rundt kl 7 om morgenen for å sikre seg plass. Det gikk helt fint å komme både kl 10 og 11, det var masse ledige plass hele dagen. Vi valgte å tilbringe mye tid langs sjøen, her var det enda litt roligere og mindre folk- mye småbarn og trangere om plassen rundt bassenget. Selve hotellet er fint, men gir tydelig preg at det var gammelt. Vi hadde to rom. Begge bad trengte sårt oppgradering, det var så å si ingen vifter/avsug på badet og dører burde blitt utskiftet. Gammel type nøkkelkort, som ble avmagnetisert om de var i nærheten av mobiltelefon. Inne i sentrum, kort gangavstand, er det en partygate med fest og musikk til de tidlige morgentimene, du hører svak musikk, men ikke noe veldig og på ingen måte noe som ødelegger for søvn eller annet. Folka som arbeider her er supre! Vennlige og serviceinnstilte. Det ble en flott ferie.

For those who love bacon, construction and noise

A hotel for those who love bacon, construction noise, and endless patience We arrived with high expectations – and yes, it was memorable. Every morning we woke to the irresistible aroma of fried bacon, seeping through walls, windows, and into our very souls. For those who dream of an intense breakfast experience starting at 6:00 AM, this is paradise. And if you’re into sound: enjoy front-row seats to a construction site, complete with drilling at dawn. No need to set an alarm – the hotel has that covered. The staff are incredibly friendly. Truly, genuinely polite. They promise to help with a smile – and then do absolutely nothing. A masterclass in empty gestures. There was also a certain charm in not having any water in our building for parts of the stay. Washing with bottles and brushing teeth with creativity adds a rustic twist that some may find delightful. Bonus features: • Balcony doors wouldn’t close properly – perfect if you want to let in noise, insects, or just feel a bit closer to the construction site. • Soundproofing appears to be on vacation, so you’re sure to feel included in every hotel happening, day or night. All in all: Highly recommended for those looking to practice mindfulness, patience, and the art of smiling through it all.

Eneste bra med dette hotellet var at man kunne bruke beachcluben og søsterhotellet sine fasiliteter. Bildene ute viser søsterhotellets fasiliteter og det står ingenting om dette på siden. Vi ble veldig skuffet.

Great sundeck with access to the sea

Nice breakfast with a great view and several good restaurants to choose from for lunch and dinner. The superior room had a great sea view but it could get very loud in the evening, with party at the beach sometimes until the morning, very bad soundproofing! The room itself is ok dtandard, a bit worn. Good airconditioning. I never found Verdis own pool area, there are no signs to where to go but instead ended up at Corinthias beach club which was amazing! If you go down to the sea you have many chairs and direct access to the clear sea by several ladders.

Snyggt och välinrett rum. Sköna sängar, bra städning, bra frukost och restauranger. Genomgående trevlig personal och poolområde. Tråkigt länge och hög ljudnivå från nattlivet, men eftersom rummen var ljudisolerade så hördes det inte så länge dörrarna var stängda. Vi bodde dock nära ef utbildning med högljudda ungdomar som ibland kunde vara störande.

Fint hotell med bra läge men bristande städning

Upplevelsen var överlag god. Hotellet var fint med bra utsikt, och det fanns bussar precis utanför vilket gjorde det enkelt att ta sig runt dock många gånger försenad. Läget var toppen, nära både stranden och stan. Frukosten var fantastisk och personalen var mycket vänliga och hjälpsamma. Det som drog ner betyget var städningen. Under hela vistelsen byttes inte våra sängkläder en enda gång vilket var en besvikelse. Rummet var dessutom lyhört, och ljud utifrån hördes ganska tydligt.

Der var støj fra nabohotellet som var ved at blive bygget. Men det kan verdi selvfølgelig ikke gøre for.

Excelente estadia em Malta

Uma excelente estadia. Equipe atenciosa e localização primorosa para quem opta em ficar em St. Julien. A conveniência de ter varios restaurantes no complexo do hotel é muito boa, e o café da manhã é excelente
