Great place to stay and explore Southwark.

Stayed here for a 2 night midweek break with a friend. First of all I just want to say how friendly and helpful all the staff were. The man who checked us in was incredibly helpful and gave us some great suggestions of things to do and see. The room was spacious / twin beds which were comfortable and it has been ages since I stayed in a hotel that provided biscuits with the tea and coffee. It may not seem much but it is a lovely touch! We didn’t partake in the pub / restaurant downstairs as we were out and about but it looked great and had a selection of board games. I live in Kent so on my next stay with my husband we will definitely pop in for a drink. The breakfast was good - I had the eggs Benedict and the eggs were cooked perfectly for me. My only criticism is that the English muffin it was served on hadn’t been toasted. My friend had the smashed avocado on toast with poached egg. She can’t eat runny yolks and although she asked for it to be well done it was still a bit runny. She ate around it and enjoyed what she had. I will definitely stay here again. The location is perfect for exploring Southwark and the hotel is a real gem. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Dejligt sted

Skønt hotel. Vi fik værelset før tid selvom vi kom flere timer før. Mega søde receptionister. Bar personalet var derimod rimelig ugidelige og virkede ikke til at vide hvad deres job var. Sengen var ret hård og kun 160 bred. Man kan ikke åbne vinduerne så meget, men der var istedet sørget for en blæser og en lille gulv aircondition.

Helt perfekt.

Meget centralt og dejligt hotel. Når man booker midt i London får man præcis det! Gadelarm som baggrundstæppe men på den gode måde. Fantastisk værelse med morgenkåber, badekar og kaffe og frisk vand på flaske. Alt var godt. Flot morgenmad.

Charming hotel with wonderful staff.

We were delighted with our stay at The Mad Hatter. I had booked our stay for my husband’s birthday. The staff decorated the room with Happy Birthday decorations and left a birthday card on the dressing table which was lovely . Staff are so friendly and helpful. Very comfortable bed and a spacious room. Food is delicious - our breakfast was fabulous and we also had lunch at the restaurant - the best steak pie we’ve ever tasted. I just want to say thank you to everyone at The Mad Hatter for a really wonderful stay. I’m looking forward to returning to see you again in October.

Sentralt og hyggelig hotell

Et hyggelig og sentralt hotell med nærhet til både tog, undergrunn og buss. Sjarmerende gammelt bygg, med god service og god mat, både frokost og middag. Utrolig hyggelig betjening. På sommeren blir rommene for varme, da det ikke er noe aircondition annet enn i baren. Men vi fikk en ekstra vifte på forespørsel, som gjorde natten levelig. Skal vi tilbake til London, så vil valget falle på The Mad Hatter Hotel. Servise overgår varmt rom

Flott hotell med vennlig personale.

Hotellet har en sentral beliggenhet i Southwark. Kort avstand til Waterloo, og 20 minutter + til Covent Garden. Stilig Alice i eventyrland tema, og meget vennlig og imøtekommende personale. Hotellrommet var rent og bekvemt. Selv om det ikke er luksuriøs standard bor jeg gjerne her neste gang i London.
