Better than expected
We know what to expect from these big grand hotels such as scarborough and Llandudno. But it was better than expected. Yes the rooms need modernising but they were clean and the beds were comfortable. Communal areas were well presented and the staff were friendly and helpful. For what we paid it was worth it for us and is obvisously a very good location for Llandudno

Disappointing
What a shame that this hotel has been allowed to get in this condition. Very dated, scruffy, dirty in places, bedside table had not been cleaned dirty drink marks on from previous occupants, had to move rooms due to a very noisy radiator, which the hotel did sort without any issue. I just find it a shame that this obviously once grand hotel, is now anything but. We did wake up to a very nice sunrise though.

Don’t stay here.
Don’t stay here, they charged me twice for my stay and won’t respond or pick up to speak to me. They will not give me my rightful refund. Very very disappointed and feel scammed out of money which I am.

1 night stay
I wanted a good location for a 1 night stay with my dogs and this fit the bill 100%. The hotel communal area was good, the room was a little tired but linens / towels were immaculate. Had entertainment on, on the evening if you wanted a drink in the bar. Overall not bad

Not very good
I had a ok stay the room wasn’t what I booked I booked a family room with a shower/bath I got a very small family room with a small shower we struggled to get past the beds to get in them when I got up in the night to got the toilet the radiator was on and I had to climb over the single bed otherwise I would of burnt myself on it as it was hot it said it had a desk in the room it didn’t i took pictures and a video of the room

Last Option in Llandudno
Not that great, there was no toiletries in bathroom no central heating. Windows were not cleaned, so basically it’s useless to get a sea view room again no amenities in room which should be there as of standard and they were mentioned while booking and not present. Lift was out of order so you have to climb stairs.

This hotel is in a fantastic area for view's and bars and restaurants The hotel itself is a bit worn but rooms were clean and the entertainment in the evening was good we had a buffet breakfast which was 12.00 ea h but worth it and the breakfast dining room was spectacular Thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay in llandudno

Enjoyed our stay two nights. Staff and entertainment work hard. Area around outside the hotel needs cleaning up or some work. Also ceilings in some areas need plastering and painting.

Although it is an older hotel, it still has grandeur and heritage. Ok it is dated and could do with a significant investment but this would probably be at the expense of the atmosphere. We both enjoyed it and the quirks like the creaky floorboards added to the experience and charm. A nice safe hotel that gives you a cuddle.
