Lovely place to stay in Santurce, San Juan
Hotel room and common area was well-taken care of and clean. Hotel staff were friendly and easy to contact via text. Cleaning staff were responsive and friendly. Very good support for English speakers. Marc Anthony room was similar in space to New York City hotel room - not spacious but perfectly adequate. On street level, windows have tinting but in the evening you should close the blinds for full privacy. Excellent food, Walmart, Marshalls, fruit market, beaches within 30 min walking distance. Santurce Art Walk is just two blocks away, beaches to the north Outside the hotel (early 2025), Santurce has a lower-SES feel to the west and south of the hotel. People will beg you for money at times. Walking at night was mostly comfortable - more empty than threatening. Parking is _very_ tight on the street. Casa Ciana has a lot that is usually available, but I think using Uber to get to and from the hotel is much more useful and then renting from the nearby locations to travel beyond Old San Juan. Street noise is generally low throughout the night. Practice your Spanish or bring a translater, bring some cash, and visit Restaurant Omayra next door to get some _authentic_ PR food. Or try the food trucks - we didn't get to them this time. I'd stay here again for sure.

Casa Ciana ligt in een onprettige buurt. Wij kwamen ‘s avonds aan en wilden graag iets eten. We voelden ons niet veilig om naar een restaurantje te lopen(vervallen buurt, prostituee’s langs de weg en louche barretjes). Het inchecken gaat met codes die je in moet tikken. Heel onpersoonlijk. Je ziet niemand. Onze kamer was piepklein. Ik kon mijn koffer niet openen. De kamer was wel netjes en schoon met een goed bed. De prijs kwaliteit klopt niet. Veel te duur voor hetgeen je krijgt.

Overnight stay
We stayed here overnight so we wouldn't need to get up super early to drive from Arecibo to catch a flight. Super clean and secure. We easily caught Ubers to and from Old San Juan and was able to enjoy the local nightlife.

Precio elevado para una habitación muy pequeña
No es nada parecido un hotel, es una habitación que funciona como renta de estancia corta en donde no hay una recepción, el baño común de la entrada tenia orines por todos lados, la habitación es diminuta, regadera sin presión para el agua, con demasiado ruido exterior y de otros inquilinos, en una zona que no se siente segura, y finalmente el precio es elevado para lo que entregan que es una casa remodelada para rentar habitaciones individuales. Si bien amablemente atienden por teléfono a dudas o inquietudes no deberia de anunciarse como in hotel ya que no lo es.

I loved the beautiful lobby area, which had a fridge with plenty of bottles of water, as well as a K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker with coffee pods and tea available. The room was comfortable and very clean. There were cookies and drinks as a welcome gift. The parking space was a plus, given that finding accommodations with parking in the metro area can be challenging. Very close to nice restaurants and popular areas in San Juan. I'll definitely stay here again. ❤️

Luxurious and local
Back again for a little birthday outing. Really a very special property. Beautiful rooms, attentive staff. Had the opportunity today to grab a breakfast sandwich from the cafe across the street and take a walk to Walgreens and enjoy the neighborhood. Felt almost like being in Greenwich Village. Artsy and real, if you want something top notch without sending your money to a chain hotel overseas, you must stay here. Thanks again!

I was a little nervous because I wasn’t sure if I would be able to get in touch with anybody because there’s no front desk. But they are very nice and friendly. They always answer the phone and very quick with help. If they don’t answer for some reason. They will return your call under at least 10 minutes. Overall. I loved it. They are great

The location was very near to a lively night life. A short walk and there was food and drink with hundreds of people having a good time. It was far enough to not be heard from the hotel and close enough to walk to easily. Great stay especially for the price.
