Loud noise

We stayed in room 218. There was a tumbling sound coming in from somewhere all day and night what sounded like its completely from a laundry room and washing machines and dryer were running non stop. It was so loud that kid kept asking when it will stop because he couldn't go to sleep from the noise. Besides that it was fine.

Excellent employees. Cash to credit card was empty so we couldn’t do the arcade. Drain in shower was clogged and would fill with each shower.

The room was not ready when we arrived but the manager quickly made sure it was ready and offered a complementary late check out and discounted second night stay. The staff was all very friendly and helpful.

Cleaner carpet requested

The carpets in the room should be more clean. The kid’s activity should not take place on a carpet that has been walked over by everyone over the entire day.

Looks like fun for a family with small ones.

I booked this room for a business trip due to other hotels in the area being full. I really wouldn’t recommend it for business. It’s pretty loud and noisy, but it’s cantered for little kids, so that’s understandable.

Took a mini family vacation and this was the perfect place. Everything was very clean, staff was friendly, food and drink options were great and overall the facility was enjoyable for all ages. We will be back!

My family and I celebrated our son’s birthday at the Great Wolf Lodges, Sandusky and it was perfect! Check in was so easy with the kiosk where we were able to scan our check in code and receive our bracelets and parking ticket. No long lines and expedited entry to get straight to the fun. We have 3 children in which the cabin suite was perfect for. The children had their own tv and den and my husband and I had a king sized bed with balcony and a dining area. It was just enough space for us to enjoy our time there. The waterpark was extremely pleasant with both inside and outside attractions that we enjoyed on check in day and check out day. The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating! We each had wristbands we could use to tap for entry into our room and for park entrance! There were never any long lines for the slides and the pools were very warm and comfortable. Due to the park not being over congested it was easy to keep an eye on all of my children while my husband and I still enjoyed ourselves in the hot tub!

Probably better for families with kids under 10y/o

The Bad: They charge $19 a day for parking IN THEIR LOT! They also put a $100 a day hold charge on your card per day (you should have it refunded 5-7 business days after you leave...it's in case of incidental issues in your room). Also, I never had Housekeeping ask if we needed anything...towels, soap, beds made - anything. Also, that the Waterpark and pools close at 8pm - that's kinda early, especially since quiet time isn't until 11pm. The Good: The Queen sized beds were very comfy! The staff were friendly in the hallway and in passing. It seems like they had a lot for younger kids. There was Ice Cream, Food, a Shop, an Arcade, Water Park and Bowling Alley all in the hotel.
