We stood in the retreat suite and it was perfect, with full kitchen. We were able to park right in front of our unit which is so convenient. Less than 5min walk to the beach and a heated pool which is shared between the surrounding small hotels. The pool is open until 10pm and every evening after the beach we had to jump in and it was never crowded. No room service but no dog deal. Would def stay here again!!

Our room was awfully small for a family of 4 (Crescent single). Front desk lady is absolutely useless and not interested in helping with anything. Asked for towels after coming from the beach she told us that housekeeping will bring it to us. After about 10 minutes I saw the housekeeper she said she didn’t have any on her but she can it bring it in about 15 minutes or I can go back to the front desk and get them (where we could of gotten them instantly). There was a huge flooding in the area where we stayed due to the heavy rain and so we couldn’t make it into the street because the water was about over 2 feet high. So we had to spend a night elsewhere we were never contacted by the staff members to instruct us what do we do in a case like this. That water stayed there for 24 hours so clearly they’re not very interested in getting things done at this property! This was our second time here it will be last time visiting this place.

Everyone in the office is great and helpful right down to the cleaning staff! Especially Jen in the office. She is over the top accommodating. Wonderful customer service!! Great location in crescent beach. Beach is literally a 3 minute walk where you can rent 2 sunbeds and a umbrella, beach is lovely. The captiva is a lovely set of apartments on one level very clean with everything you need. The captiva is within a village like area lovely and clean great location and you can get the free trolley into the vibrant village area. Would highly recommend staying at the captiva.

The property was ok. Location was the best part. Steps from the beach and dining. Our room had a strange smell like something was being covered up with an overwhelming pine or lemon scent cleaner. Staff were really friendly. Weird people in the room to our right we felt were more likely residents than visitors. Nice location for the beach. The beach does not offer any services however except chairs/umbrellas. The pool at this property is shared by several other properties. Was fine, but crowded. Loved the ping pong tables and bocce ball on site. And the courtyard with artificial turf was nice also. Room was perfectly clean. Kitchen was nicely furnished. Was also nice that there were some beach things to use (coolers, chairs).
