Great views, so-so condition

Great views and good accommodations, staff is courteous and helpful. Condition was average, definitely some wear and tear, but not enough to make it uncomfortable. Nice pool and hot tub.

Communication and professionalism was sub par

The look of the place was a little less than what we had hoped for. It was quite weathered in some aspects but ok in others. The issue we mainly had was house cleaning never showed up to tidy up from day to day. Then when my Girlfriend called to inquire about when the my come they told us it should be every day. We informed them this hadn’t happened they apologized but did not send anyone up to replace towels or linens or remove trash. So I had to make a stops to the front desk and tell the desk attendant in person. Someone showed up about an hour and half later. It was close to 8pm and we were leaving the next morning.

Good, not great. Would stay again.

Heard from property before check-in, which was nice. Room was ready upon arrival. Property is a bit dated, but everything was clean. Grab and go breakfast left much to be desired and the pool was being treated both mornings we attempted to get an early swim in with the kids, so it wasn’t exactly open when they said it would be. Road going into property is pretty rough too. Good pet friendly option and the price was right. Lots of room for the family.

I was not happy about the resort fee, since I didn't use any of it, but I understand some do. Internet was good, Legacy is starting to look rundown, but still a good option to stay in. Staff was friendly. Bed was fine. Loved the little kitchenette. Over all, I would stay here again.

Don’t use the sofa bed

The staff are extremely nice and this is a great value IF you are not planning on sleeping on the sofa bed. That thing was awful - and I have a high tolerance for janky beds! The second night I pulled the mattress off the couch bed spring and just slept with the mattress on the floor. Much better! Aside from that - it was great to have a full kitchen, great view, great green space around the property, and everyone we met was very friendly - both staff and guests. The property has for sure seen some wear and tear, but it was super clean and has everything you need for a great vacay. The breakfast is minimal with just bagels, cereal, apples, tea and coffee - so plan to cook in your kitchen. Yes there are potholes on the road to the property, but no worse than what are on the road to steamboat. I would stay here again, but only if I were staying in a bed and not the sofa bed. There are great sofa beds out there these days and this was horrible. If they’re going to advertise it as a sleeping option it needs to be a legit option. One last thing: bring an eye mask if you’ll be in a loft. There are skylights which are cool, but no blinds on them so it’s extremely bright when the sun rises.

Nice size and comfy

The rooms are big and good if traveling with a group. The kitchen was nice to have. The bedroom was large with a large closet and two full bathrooms nice.

No one there to past midnight to meet you . The lobby door was closed and locked, had to pick up a phone at entry area phone didn't work so couldn't get help to get my key to the room, I called with my phone then lock box to get my key didn't work couldn't get it open had to wait a very long time for security to come help open box to get my key then he couldn't get phone to work or box open to get key , he finally opened it but it took almost 2 hours to get to our room. Our room smelled terrible very musty, stairs to go to bedroom very narrow with no safety hand rail very difficult and dangerous!! Called to switch rooms, same situation with new room even worse fridge made a loud noise all night long . I only had 2 hours of sleep.

Upgrade seriously needed

The Building itself is very old. The pictures on website or online doesn’t quite deliver what it exactly is at the actual property. The room wasn’t terrible (I’ve seen worse) but bed skirts had some holes, looks like from wearing off or puncture. The mattress springs in the bed sunk down a bit, not sure how old the bed was, not very comfortable. Bathroom has no ventilation, toilet takes very long to flush completely, the bathtub faucet rod won’t stay up, and kept on falling, it is just way too old, makes weird noise. Kitchen does not have a dishwasher. The grab-n-go breakfast wasn’t ready at the time they promised, ended up leaving without it. The activities center can’t be used unless you pay extra for each game they have, nothing is complimentary except the water in the lobby.

It was a horrible experience. The carpets are dirty. My clean towel had brown marks all over it. The drive is horrible and can damage smaller vehicles. The water pressure and shower curtain suck. I will never go back.
