My stay a showboat was great People great Issue i had was trying to connect w Hotels.com and figure what was going on. People at Showboat are wonderful. It will do in a pinch.
Road construction in front of the hotel made it extremely difficult to get to the location - had to use the alley. Not the hotel's fault, though. Otherwise it was just an inexpensive hotel, not the cleanest grounds, etc.

my family stayed at the national 9 showboat in Casper WY. We would like it to be known that the hotel is not as advertised. The listing for the hotel is very misleading, it says that there is a designated smoking area when really half the hotel allows smoking. This was very inconvenient for my family because both my child and I suffer from lung disease. There is nothing to block any smell/smoke from entering the nonsmoking side causing the hallways to be very smoky and the building to have a strong smell. As well as this there are large gaps in the door to make it even worse. There were also no options for smoking rooms in the listing making it impossible for us to know it would be this way. The room was also very damaged and dingy. The bed sheets had rips in them and the walls are peeling/cracking. There are dead bugs in the windowsill as well as a layer of dirt. The towels were not fully stocked and we were given two bottles of shampoo and no conditioner. There was also an incident that led to patrons having to stand and wait for a long period of time while the staff sat in the back room and talked. We think it would be a good idea to update the listing. We also have pictures of the outside of the building, hallways, and room damage available if needed.

The hotel is very clean. It’s definitely outdated, but clean. Desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. Housecleaning did a nice job cleaning up our room when we out and about. Other reviews of hotel mentioned difficulty getting to hotel due to road construction. That’s true but not motels fault. Price for this hotel is very reasonable compared to other hotels in area.

The property itself is definitely dated but clean...there is a freeway just next to the hotel, however, i did not hear any noise...the neighborhood on the other side is shabby with houses in much need of renovation...i stayed near the hotel, didn't want to wander... in addition to the freeway, there is a big construction job going on, on the ramp...fortunately, i was there on a friday night and work was finished by the time i arrived...i left saturday

Not very welcoming
When I arrived she was vacuuming, I accidentally stepped on the cord, she turned and glared at me like "what are you doing". It was very uncomfortable. I said I was there to check in and her attitude changed immediately. I did not feel welcome at all.

The staff was very nice. The location was weird. They're doing construction so it's extremely hard to get there using Google maps or any map. No food options nearby. There were some random people in the halls on their computer. Breakfast was limited but so so overall. Room was dusty, dirty, and old times. There was a light bulb missing for some reason. The staff made it so much better but it's just the place itself was so dated and dirty. We cleaned up and it was so much better after.

There were major roadworks outside of this property which made access very difficult. However the room was quite large and very comfortable and was ideal for us. The town centre was a drive away if you wanted a meal but a very good breakfast was provided and there was ample parking space

The minute I walked in, I could smell the cleanest of the property. The lobby as well as the room was very clean and employee was kind, efficient and I liked it very much. Even though there was construction going on in front on road, it was easy to get to and I was very impressed. Didn’t mind construction at all.
