Romantic vintage hotel
Took some time to find the hotel as it was located in a small alley. Received a warm welcome by the super helpful & friendly front desk lady, had a nice chat with her. Beautiful interior, but steps up & down were not totally convinent for my big suitcase. My double room for single use was vintage but old. Not really much space to open my suitcase. Shampoo & shower gel had amzing citrus smell, but the shower would wet the whole floor as the glass only covered half. Comfy bed & pillows. Church bell rings hourly. Need more lighting. The attractive rooftop terrace was actually dark & nobody was there, maybe because my season was not peak.

Deceptive Charm Hotel
The hotel seemed to be charming and well maintained on the website but the reality is different. It seems that it has been abandoned: you can notice everywhere that the paintings or details are not being refreshed. There was a bad smell (coming from the shower drain apparently) when we entered the room, which stayed the whole time. The shower was leaking. The mattress was not good. Room pretty small. Reakfast is good. They don’t have enough staff. It is impossible to talk to reception when you have a problem. 1 person has to do everything! Location is good and staff in nice, but there is a feeling of disappointment during the stay as you don’t get what you expect at all levels.

Recientemente, tuve una experiencia profundamente desagradable y peligrosa en este hotel, que me obliga a compartir mi opinión para alertar a futuros huéspedes. Durante nuestra estancia, decidimos visitar la terraza para tomar algunas fotos. Al llegar, inicialmente se nos informó que no podíamos acceder porque supuestamente había un evento en curso. Sin embargo, era evidente que no había ningún evento en ese momento; entonces nos permitieron pasar para tomar fotos, lo que hicimos rápidamente, no más de cinco minutos. Al regresar para bajar al lobby, el personal de la terraza nos dijo que el elevador ya no funcionaba y que ellos no trabajaban para el hotel y que no podían hacer nada para solucionar el problema del elevador. En lugar de ofrecernos una solución segura, nos obligaron a bajar por unas escaleras de caracol que claramente eran de mantenimiento. Estas escaleras estaban en pésimas condiciones: grafiteadas, sin iluminación y claramente no aptas para el tránsito de personas, especialmente de personas mayores. Mis padres, que son de la tercera edad, se vieron forzados a descender por estas escaleras en total oscuridad, usando la luz de nuestros teléfonos móviles para poder ver. Esta situación no solo fue humillante, sino extremadamente peligrosa. El riesgo de que sufrieran una caída fue altísimo, y no puedo dejar de pensar en lo que podría haber pasado.

Super zentral gelegenes wunderschönes Hotel und super Service. Badezimmer und Poolbereich könnten ein makeover vertragen, sodass es zum restlichen Stil des Hotels passt, aber das ist „meckern“ auf hohem Niveau, da es trotzdem wunderschön ist und wir uns auch am Pool sehr wohlgefühlt haben. Großes Plus sind auch die großen Zimmer, was heute eine Seltenheit ist. Gerne wieder!

Then location, the staff, the amenities are great! We stayed in a room that is below the roof top bar so there was noise later in the evening, that is the only complaint I have.

This is a beautiful hotel that is centrally located, close to all the wonderful sites in Seville. The only issue is that some bells ring at 7 am on certain days so sleeping in may be an issue. Otherwise the rooms and spacious with cathedral ceilings and big bathrooms. I loved it.
