Just wanting a peaceful nights sleep

I decided to make Holiday Inn as my default hotel, and have had success mostly. This particular one was old and only USB connection the walls in the bath showed signs of water damage, and the hot was little present.

Amazing place to stay

Excellent!! I’ve come to Cheyenne numerous times and this was our first time staying here and everything was great! Room was very clean. Polite staff. Good variety breakfast. Pool and hot tub were excellent and running properly. Pool water was nice and warm. Heated area coming out of pool felt amazing. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Nice and quiet. No ridiculous rules like SureStay.

No Disclosure of limited services due to renovatio

The main reason for staying at this hotel was for the hot continental breakfast and the pool / I called the week before my arrival to confirm my reservation and was never advised that the hotel was undergoing renovations so if my five day, 2 days we were only offered cold items, prepackaged muffins, etc for breakfast so we ended up spending $ for two days of breakfast out and the pool was closed the entire time

Overall the accomodations were great for what our family needed. The staff of the Watiki water park entrance/arcade were excellent and helpful and very attentive. They definitely helped make the trip more fun for everyone. The breakfast staff were also great. The staff at the Sliders restaurant however could use some assistance in understanding better service. We ordered food and for some reason, they couldn't figure out who to take it to. So after an hour wait, I went to them and they hadn't even bothered calling the phone number associated with the order to figure it out and even after I clarified with them where the order was supposed to be delivered, they forgot to bring any of our beverages.

We stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Cheyenne Wyoming woth our small children after a long day in the car. I was shocked when we got to our room to find our TV unusable woth easily 30 seconds lag time between thd remote and TV. I spent a frustrating hour trying to put on some cartoons for the kids so I could shower with no luck. Then I hopped in the shower to discover the body wash dispenser empty. Definitely paid too much for this room that can't even get the basics covered.

Matt in the kitchen was super nice and accommodating to everyone (even when they didn’t deserve his hospitality). We feel he was taken advantage of but he responded with grace and a smile and you don’t see that every day. We were so impressed watching his response to the other guest.

I’m surprised at the rating for this hotel. Positives are the area feels safe and it’s conveniently located just off the highway. However; it is one of the dirtiest rooms we’ve stayed in. There was hair everywhere- the bathroom floor, the tub, even the sheets. And the sheets smelled awful, like used gym clothes. There was yellow stains on the comforter. The room was also very hot and when we adjusted the thermostat, it didn’t kick on any AC to cool the room.

Minimalistic decor, but clean

The room look to be renovated recently. Did not care for the decor; it was so minimalistic that is almost seemed industrial. The chest where a TV usually sits was replaced by an all purpose bench/luggage shelf. Other than that, the room seemed to have a bit of an odor, but appeared nicely clean. Breakfast was good, always love HI cinnamon rolls!
