Horrible experience.
Lobby was stinky. Elevator wreaked of marijuana. Room had food smeared on wall. Bed was broken. Reading light was broken. Cockroach found in bathroom.

Lumpy pillows
The hotel staff were courteous and efficient. The hotel is older but clean. Breakfast was very good. Only complaints are that the pillows were awful. Old, lumpy and very uncomfortable. The mattress on the pull out couch was very stained so we did not use it.

The beds were a little too tall
We stayed at the Comfort Suites on Clara Ave. in Columbus, Ohio. The good: The hotel was quite clean and the staff was very helpful. The bad: My daughter and I are of average height. The beds were a bit too high to easily get onto. In order to lay down, we had to get on the edge of the bed, put one leg up onto the bed and roll over then work our way up to the pillows. The bottom of the siderails was exposed, unfinished wood. Also, there was no towel bar to hang the hand towels on. It would be nice to have a night light so one wouldn't have to leave the bathroom light (and fan) on.

Eh.
The beds have square pillows that are small and uncomfortable. Two towels in the bathroom had stained mascara from previous guests. There was an hole in the wall by the couch. Overall not the most clean.

I have stayed here lot of times and it was very good. However this time (Jan 10, 2025). The hotel was very dirty. The corridors had garbage and had not been vacumed for days. Elevator was sticky. For breakfast nothing much and the tables we not even cleaned properly. And some chairs were sticky. There were no other guests for breakfast and only us so not sure why they could not clean up properly. I complained to the front desk and the guy their said they had a party two days before. I even asked if the management has changed.

We needed to stay overnight for an event at the fairgrounds. This hotel was better than expected. Clean. Friendly service and a free breakfast. I live in a city, so can sleep through some noise.

The morning of checkout. Around 6:30am, I went to take a shower and realized the shower would only go on with the hottest setting on. If I were to lower the temp no water was coming out. So there was no way any of us could shower in scolding water. My family and I were unable to cleanup before our checkout, which was very unfortunate since we had an event to attend by 8am. Went down and complained to front desk attendant, and he was very rude and dismissive to our current situation, which led to an argument. I will never stay at a Comfort Suites again. Horrible costumer service

Wall paper peeling off of wall, mold behind the wall paper, room smelled like mold, hair all over the bath tub, yellow stains all over the floor, no sheets for the pull out couch. Outside the sidewalks were nothing but ice and snow.

Older hotel but very clean and well kept. Pool was fine for the kids. Easy access to highway and about 7 minutes drive to the Convention Centre.

Decent service but property in bad shape
the guy at the front desk was very nice, unfortunately the condition of the property is poor, smelled moldy and not clean. Ceiling in bathroom was caved in, no hot water and the breakfast wasn't good at all.
