Great place to stay with the kids. Enjoyed all the amenities. Clean and updated facility. The only thing they can do better with is clean the indoor pool and jacuzzi area. Other than that, the staff was amazing, the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly and kids just had a blast with the ice skat show, icream parlor, private beach.

It’s a nice hotel but it’s dated. The bathrooms and furniture need some updgrades but I love the ice skating rink and arcade. Would stay there again, the staff were nice and friendly and the lobby smells great.

The first night we were here the fire alarm went off which was very unpleasant. No staff were present and every guest was left to their own devices. There was no clarity on what was going on or what we should do. This was extremely unsatisfactory. As for the room quality- ceiling tiles are folding and warping in the bathroom and the bed sheets had stains on them. We were very appreciative of the cleaning staff, they went above and beyond, and the bartenders at tsunami were pleasant as well.

Our rooms were clean and nice and everyone that we dealt with at the hotel was very friendly and helpful! The one negative thing was that people in a room right close to us were smoking marijuana the entire time we were staying there. Every time we opened our door to our walkout to try and enjoy the outdoors, pool, etc., we were hit in the face with such a strong marijuana smell that we couldn’t take it after a short time and had to close our door. Very disappointing considering this is supposed to be a smoke free hotel. We also had two small children that we did not want breathing the strong odors. If this behavior is allowed, it should NOT be and you should make certain to let customers know when they made a reservation.

Overall this place is run down and gross. Maybe 40 years ago pride was taken in hotel presentation. Now the common areas stink of humidity and cinnamon popouri to cover up the stank. We also got a comforter that was supposed to be washed instead it had barf stains and rice smooshed in it. This place gets 1 star and needs renovated 20 years ago. Overall summary is the place is GROSS!

The hotel overall was great. The staff was always nice and helpful. Besides the false fire alarm and having to evacuate at 1 am it was a decent stay.

Resort fee is in addition to the total cost advertised. Sink was clogged. Dirt/grease on one of the pillows. Furniture is stained. That being said , I would stay again. Parking is great. Hotel and its various businesses are well staffed with helpful workers. The location is great. Rooms are just in need of a facelift.

It’s definitely a place that’s seen better days. The room ac didn’t work. The general manager said you can’t control it they set it for the entire floor. The bed was broken. Hot water only stayed on for a min or so. Nothing opens until 10 so if you wake up early or want a cup of coffee or enjoy a morning swim that’s not happening. If you have kids it’s an ok place to go, but if you’re looking for a place for a couple it’s a definite no go. We enjoyed ourselves but will not be going back here again. The hotel was probably fantastic years ago but the general manager cared more about eating his food than handling problems. Almost no one spoke English so be prepared to not get answers. In my opinion it’s poorly operated, but with the right operator it could make a turnaround.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Carousel. The outdoor bar is fun and the kids really enjoyed the pools. The bathtub was a little dirty/stained when we arrived and the bed were a little hard for my liking but overall we really like the atmosphere of the hotel!
