Great hotel - but bring your own coffee!!!
Suitable for busniess and pleasure. Nice selection of breakfast dishes. But the worst cup of coffee I had for a while :-/

Deuxième séjour en famille en 2 ans.
L'hôtel est bien mieux que l'année précédente mais niveau propreté des chambres c'est moyen.
Nourriture sans trop de saveur et assez répétitive.

Cet hôtel est à classé en 4* car aucun luxe et service très très limité. Il devrait revoir sa politique du All Inclusive qui n'est qu'une pension complète au restaurant et quelques boissons au bar. Impossible de manger ou boire un soft à la piscine pour adulte qui n'a aucun intérêt d'exister.
Hôtel qui a un cadre paisible où le personnel est au petit soin pour vous mais il manque cette sensation de bien être. Il n'y a qu'un restaurant qui vous offre toujours le même menu et surtout le bar de la piscine central ne vous propose à mangé qu'après 15h??? Tout y est assez passable dans l'ensemble pour la catégorie attendue.

The housekeeping service was consistently late, and there were several issues with the room. Items were either broken or missing; for example, there was no hairdryer available, and the iron was not functioning. I had to contact housekeeping multiple times to address these problems. Additionally, the bathroom cleaning was not done at all, and no toiletries were replaced. The buffet remained the same every day, and there wasn't much for the children to do.
The wellness centre could be more relaxing if they offered refreshments after the one-hour treatment. However, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Excellent hotel and great staff nice selection of food only thing I did not like we was delayed at airport and when we arrived at hotel the all inclusive restaurant had been closed for an hour we asked for a sandwich and was told only thing they offered was room service which we was expected to pay for

Service was very poor at Bar and restaurant area, staff don’t respond to any requests, most of the cocktails are not included in All inclusive. Restaurant staff don’t bother asking anyone for any drinks etc, even when you request for some cutlery etc they don’t come back. Serious management issues that can be easily resolved by staff training of how to take care of guests, cleaning on cubicle beds area around pool was poor, best point of hotel was excellent Landscaping all around the hotel .

The hotel itself is listed as all inclusive but they offer only one buffet option, food was not good, many days barely edible. Therefore you end up spending money on outside food. As far as the drinks you are limited to what your all inclusive included- very misleading. It also ends early. You can not find anything after 10 pm on the property to eat. Only one a la carte restaurant on the property and you have to pay for it, construction was being done so morning were loud.

Barcelo Palmeraie looks to be a Hotel which is going through a Transition. When we where there, they were finishing the whole new entrance, which looks amazing. Also the rooms looked to have gotten a recent update.
For the Hotel i really hope that they will plan a renovation for the meals… For us it was very much the same everyday with not so much to choose from and often food being finished way before the closing time of the specific time of the day.
Also the costumer friendliness in the restaurants werent always that good. It looks to be that there is a younger guard which is very kind, polite and helpfull and an older guard which just stands around the whole time and every bit of work they have to do seems to be too much for them…
The All-inclusive system also raised some eyebrows, if you book through, in this case, expedia. You can choose between halfpension or All-Inklusive. The moment we arrived we found out that on the spot you have something called “All-Inklusive ” for this service you pay an additional 30euro’s per person per night. Which basically is the official “all-inklusive” package. Because the “normal” all-inklusive just gives you the meals and half of the drinks at the bar and the swimming pool for free…. For the other half of the menu you have to pay, or have All-Inklusive …
To us this is just super weird..
Note; fix your own airport transfer; 30 euro’s is way over priced. We paid 20 which is already a high amount… can’t believe they ask such prices…

Hotel merveilleux tres calme.un accueil chaleureux on a passé une tres belle semaine dans ce havre de paix merci a tous le personnel.
