From my money concerns, the front desk addressed everything. They were so kind and helpful, and very accommodating to us since my husband's on oxygen and can't walk far. They originally had a scheduled for a mid hall room but then moved us to the second floor right off the elevator which was excellent. I was concerned because of a couple bad reviews I had read, but the front desk did everything in their power to put my mind to ease and my concerns were unfounded.d

My recent stay at this motel was quite disappointing. The room itself had significant issues; there was only one workable light for the entire space, making it dim and uninviting. Even more frustrating was the lack of usable outlets – I found only one working plug to charge my devices, which is simply inadequate in this day and age. While there was an outlet in the bathroom, it's not ideal for charging electronics. The breakfast experience was equally subpar. The motel advertised a full breakfast, but there were no eggs served. When I inquired about this, I was told they had "supply problems." My suggestion to send someone to a nearby store to purchase eggs was met with no response. Given these issues, I do not recommend this property. Look elsewhere for a more comfortable and well-equipped stay.

Pro: because we were just needing a bed to sleep in this was fine. It was relatively cheap. The hotel staff was responsive to the problems, so that is a positive. The treadmill in the workout room worked and was nice. Con: no coffee pots in rooms (this is the first and only hotel that I have ever heard of that doesn’t have a coffee pot in the rooms). The coffee was completely out downstairs and they only have one carafe (also a first at a hotel). Con: pool was pretty cold, hot tub very hot, very odd path to take to get to pool and hot tub. The doors on rooms are very loud. The breakfast was completely out of food at 6:55. Breakfast runs from 6:30-9:30. I went to front desk and They did get some food put out within 10 mins so that was good. Overall: this hotel is old, run down, needs updated. Our room had a vintage 1980s alarm clock. Lol. We will not stay again and probably would never stay at a baymont. It was just for a night to sleep but I have paid less for a hotel room and had way better service and experiences than here. If you just need a bed then I guess go for it. If you want more than that - steer clear.

This was not our first trip to Springfield, Missouri, but our first stay at the Baymont by Wyndham hotel. The service was absolutely amazing from the time we checked in until the time we checked out. The experience was perfect!

We checked in late at night and the man at the front desk was fairly clueless and had me charged twice for my room. Luckily the lady that came in the morning was much more knowledgeable and redeemed that. The place was old but clean. Can't complain about much else.

We prepaid our room prior to our trip. When we arrived, we were confronted by the clerk with a mandatory $150 deposit because we "prepaid with a third party." None of the acknowledgements, conformations, communications from the hotel prepared us for this requirement. We had some unexpected expenses and so cash flow was minimal. I was not prepared. I was very upset. Neither of the desk clerks cared about anything but me providing the $150 deposit. It was too late for us to find elsewhere to stay. The clerks looked at me in an unconcerned and blank stare. The room was okay, except for the corner wall trim... nails snagged and tore clothing. The trim was partially off on the entry to the bathroom; the trim on the left corner entering the room had most of its nails protruding and snagging our clothes I spoke with another family and they were also hit with the additional deposit and no warning No coffee pot in the room No towels in the pool area Neither of the two clerks told us that we needed to ask for pool towels or coffee pot. All our previous trips at other hotels had this as complimentary ... When I said something, they replied that I had to ask for towels at the front desk. This should have been part of the initial checking in procedures. - the luggage carrier was also falling apart RUDE RUDE people

We liked the friendliness of staff. The location is close to restaurants and shopping. It had ample parking and easy to locate. The breakfast was good with gluten free options. There was an attendant who kept the breakfast stocked.

We enjoyed our visit at Baymont. The indoor pool and good reviews are why I chose this hotel. My daughter loves to swim. The room was very clean. The walls do seem thin because I could hear other people talking. My main complaint is the beds! Ugh those were not new like one review stated. The bed sagged in the middle so it wasn’t very comfortable. I’m used to my fancy Nectar bed at home.
