We just completed a 5-night stay from July 7–11, 2025, and unfortunately, it was a major letdown.
The hotel is wildly overpriced for what you get. While the location is convenient—right on a public beach—there’s little else to justify the cost. It’s extremely loud at all hours, and the beach area is crowded with unhoused individuals who are allowed to sleep and live there. It really raises the question: why pay resort prices when the beach is essentially open to all?
Despite advertising as a beachfront resort, there are no complimentary beach chairs—they charge an additional $150 per day just to use loungers. The rooms themselves are in rough shape: outdated, worn, and badly in need of a full remodel.
Dining was another disappointment. Every restaurant we tried was severely understaffed. Expect two-hour waits for mediocre food and inattentive service.
Overall, this place banks on its location but fails to deliver a quality experience. You can—and should—do better
