It was good but our room key wouldn’t work after numerous keys and running back and fourth and reserved and did online check in with time of arrival and had to wait almost an hr for a room anyway

The door locks did not work so they had to open with a crowbar. The place is damp and smells musty. Carpet is peeling up. It was not a fair deal for the price.

The first room I was given was still dirty and smelled like an ash tray. The second room was clean but needed some updating from previous damage. There was garbage in the hall all day.

The parking lot and outside appearance give you apprehension as you enter the building. The lobby is chic shabby and carpets are desperate for a cleaning. We needed dog friendly accommodations and Super 8 filled the bill. The price was right. Our room was spotless as well as the bathroom. We would stay there again.

If you would like for the general manager to fraudulently charge your card for your stay when you have already paid on Hotels.com, this is totally the place for you. Likewise, if you would like to commune with the current transient population of Kingston, including the guy down the hall who makes goat noses while spanking himself all night, again, look no further - this is totally the place for you. However, if you are looking for a nice, respectable, clean motel, definitely try another one in the area. You have been warned. You're welcome.

On-line we inquired about early check-in, which they said was possible for a fee, but I told my son let's go there and work it out. We arrived at 1:00 for a 3:00 check-in booked thru Hotels.com. They were unable to give us early check-in, although there was 1 car in parking lot. I tried to pay my $100 deposit for my son, so I could leave. They wouldn't take it till actual checkin. At 3:00 ish my son called to put me on the phone with front desk to give them credit card info for deposit. They wouldn't take it. I had to stop what I was doing and come back. At 3:30 is they assigned him a room. Door lock was broken and he couldn't get in room. It took till after 4:15 to get into another room, although the motel was practically empty. Front desk people were polite enough, but clearly not trained or supported to accommodate customers. Front lobby and entrance are gross and unmaintained, in shambles. The whole place - computer systems, staff training, etc, is dismal. For $10 more you can get a much nicer experience at a Quality Inn.

It was just one night and everything was just fine. Comfortable bed, good shower, good WiFi....seedy in spots in the room but that was expected. No bugs which I had been warned about. They need to up their signage outside to include the full name of the hotel. There's just one ancient "Super 8" sign near the road but you wouldn't know it was a Wyndham hotel at all.

The internet site for the Super 8 is as not accurate. There was no breakfast to be had. The property was ran down and in disrepair. The fire alarm was intermittently going off. The fire doors were closed due to the malfunctioning fire alarm. Every time someone walked through the fire doors, they automatically slammed shut making a loud slamming sound. Fortunately the hotel was not crowed. For a Friday evening, there was only 7 cars in the parking lot. The furniture in our room was falling apart and tacky to touch. Our room was clean as it could be. The staff did make the bed linens clean. There was no staff to help with check out. There was a stench in the hallways. The Hotels.com web site was about thirty dollars cheaper than the Super 8 web site.

Questionable area and surroundings for sure. Walked in the front door and the side doors and it was like a contact high. It smelled like Marijuana. ALOT.

I stay here every time I am in Kingston. It is very budget friendly and is a good deal for the price. It is not a fancy place but comfortable. The bed was great, the heat was pumping and the water pressure was excellent. The staff was also incredibly helpful and attentive.

The front desk crew and especially Diane.,? She did a great job of fixing my reservation issue with Expedia and got me the room and was cheerful throughout even with a line of people with the same issues she remained helpful. I highly recommend her for compensation, and I will stay there again because of her.
