Not Exactly A Pleasant Stay
From the first encounter at the front desk upon check-in to the making of the room, there was always some little things that made me want to leave the place sooner ((for example: I was waken up twice in the middle of the night by spiders crawling across my face). However, breakfast was quite acceptable.

Very cold rooms waiting.
Called several times a day to ask what time we would be arriving. First time in the area we could only rely on Google maps which took us out of the way. Office was closing at 11 pm. After things were straigthened out, w arrived only to have the room freezing. It would have been nice to have a decent temp in the room especially knowing we were going to arrive late. Had to sleep with with our sweaters, and sweatshirts etc to be warm. Both heaters were blowing some cold air with little warm air. Took all night to warm the rooms. Time to leave then.

Rooms clean and confortable
Everything great in the room just the breakfast was terrible we arrived the night before and the same hard like a rock bagels were there for breakfast terrible coffee and 2 lame yogurts plus old fruit I don’t think is healthy to keep food from day before there to save a buck or 2 so don’t count on the breakfast

It's gone down hill since last year.
We have stayed a couple times in the past so we decided to stay again for our yearly trip. Check in was great. Staff was friendly. Location is right where we needed to be. We go to our room and the condition of the room was not the same as in the past. The bed was horribly uncomfortable and created bad sleeping. The "continental breakfast" was far from edible. Only thing good was the coffee. My cream cheese had mold in it, and the bagels tasted funny. We ended up eating elsewhere. For the price, I guess you get what you pay for, but next year we'll be staying elsewhere.

Great spot
Great hotel and price for an overnight stay. We didn’t arrive until just before midnight, and left early the next morning, but the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the price couldn’t be beat. It’s also located next to 2 coffee/breakfast spots, a small grocery store and’s a gas station which was quite convenient.

They incorrectly charged us the damage deposit for our room and we had to fight with them with them to get it back. We have stayed in hundreds of rooms over the years and have never damaged anything nor been charged the damage deposit. As the icing on the cake, we got ripped off on the US to Canadian exchange rate and lost $6.00 Canadian on the return of our money, even though the Canadian dollar went down in value while we were waiting for the refund. It’s not the $6.00 that matters, it’s the principle of the whole experience. The staff is untrained. Neither the juice nor coffee machines were working and they couldn’t fix them. Needless to say,we will never be back.

It is OK for the price, the neighborhood is a little sketchy and the hotel itself is pretty dated. The staff member who checked us in was very professional and friendly despite being behind a glass partition, something I don't think I have experienced in a prior hotel stay. The carpet in my room was stained, although it was clean as far as I could tell, but the entire place had a feel of somewhere that was nice at one time but not so much now. Again, a decent value for the money but I wouldn't stay here again.

The room was in poor repair. The bathroom door didn't close. Trim and finishes worn and damaged. TV cable didn't work correctly. Shower had mold and paint peeling badly in the bathroom.
