I have stayed at this hotel in the past and it was very nice, clean and nice place to stay. This time was the total opposite with the new owners/management they were rude, there was mold spores on the chairs, TV remote not working, my shower wasn't working properly. I told them that the shower wasn't working and they wouldn't move me to a different room after I asked to be moved. I was told by the owner no they didn't have available rooms and the other desk clerk told me yes. They were supposed to send their maintenance guy to fix and they never came to fix it. When I confronted them the following morning when I went to check out the owner got very nasty with me about it. She told me, "Well if you were so unhappy with your stay you could have came and asked for a refund and I would have gave you your money back. I don't need your money and I would give you a full refund." I told her ma'am we are in a state of emergency due to the hurricane and I can't go home because I don't have any lights or running water and I have kids. She told me that is not my problem and that she doesn't need my money. That was uncalled for considering no one had lights or running water due to the hurricane and everyone was seeking shelter. I also witnessed them being rude, disrespectful and inconsiderate to everyone. Please DO NOT stay at this hotel unless it is a last result.
