Kind of disappointed

Room was clean but didn’t have microwave in room. Had to go to desk to get one. Also the reservation was for a smoking room. They gave us non smoking. When I said what we reserved for they said theirs showed non smoking. I showed my order on the phone and was told that room was already reserved for someone else. I spent good money in wanting that room. We had it at a previous stay. Was very disappointed. Debating what to do next time since we go that way every 3 months for my husbands back injections. Would love to hear your feedback

The place smell like a cigarette smoking factory, the ceiling in the room and bathroom falling off, bathroom is leaking, sleeping on the bed we had pains. I will never recommend this hotel for anyone. The dining room was dirty reception area dirty, we fell sick after leaving the hotel. Staff unprofessional rude and nasty.

Ok… for a night stay.

It was ok, Roma are spacious, beds are nice and was clean… the property lacks maintenance…bath rooms are ok, the toilet seat was worn out … should be a 20$ fix and not sure why they do t do it… furniture and floor carpet is very old and shows signs of stains. Over all a max of 3star.

A clean place to sleep for the night

Just needed a hotel for VT parents’ weekend, so paid $185 for something 30 mins away. I didn’t have high expectations after reading the ratings, and the hallway was a little smelly, but once I got in the room it was clean and smelled fine. I had two little kids who were asleep when we got there, and the front desk guy moved my room to downstairs so I could get them in more easily, so that was nice, and it was a close trip from the parking lot.

The property looked tired and run down. The hallways reeked of smoke. Our reserved non-smoking room smelled of smoke. The management moved us to another room that was acceptable. The management was pleasant to deal with. Overall our stay was ok. I would try to reserve another property for a future stay. If this were our only option I would stay there again.

Worse hotel ever- DO NOT STAY. Sleep in your car.

Without any doubt- this was the absolute worse hotel we have ever stayed at. Management should be so ashamed of ripping off families with how poor condition it is. The hotel was the worse condition- smelled horrible like a thousand ashtrays , beds broken with metal pieces out, blankets were filthy. There were massive holes in the street to the hotel. I am shocked that this hotel can even be open. Run, do not walk from this hotel. Unfortunately we waited too long to make a reservation and had to go here- next time will sleep in our car.

This was one of the most filthy hotels I've ever stayed in. Upon entering, there was an old dirty sofa sitting on the exterior of the main entrance. The first thing I noticed was stale cigarette smell that permeated the entire foyer and I was hoping it would be gone in the room, but it was worse there. The hallway carpets were filthy and had not been vacuumed. The bathroom in the room had debris (unsure of what it was) on the counters, the curtain rod for the shower was bent so much in a u shape that the (moldy) curtain could not hang properly to hold the water inside the shower. The sheets appeared clean, but the duvet underneath was stained. The room was very hot and stuffy upon entering and thankfully the very old window unit, albeit loud, cooled the room enough to be tolerable. The view out of the window was a pile of trash and dirt. The most appalling part of this experience was the premium price I paid for a one night stay in this hotel where there was still vacancy despite it being graduation weekend in Blacksburg. I made this reservation months ago in preparation for a special weekend going to graduation. There is nothing good I can say about this hotel.

Unfortunately, the room really really really stink. I got a non-smoking room, but it was right next to a smoking room. People were smoking in the hallways walking around and everything just stank. The room also smelled really musty. It was fine for what it was checked in late checked out early, but would not stay here again. Staff was very friendly, and I think if I made a stink, they would have done something about it, but you get what you pay for and honestly, I was too tired to do anything but crash.

Beware, Run!

When you walk in the lobby, a smell of mold or dirty trash greets you at the door. Hotel is outdated and run down. The bathroom in our room was was all rusted and the toilet seat looked worse than a gas station bathroom. The AC, phone, and lights didnt work only one light in our room worked. When i went to complain to the front desk staff about the AC her first reply was "i dont know what to tell you guys" i assume this is because they were fully booked. She called an owner and passed me the phone, he began to ask me what is wrong with the AC, if only i worked for an AC company. He then came to the room and started to mess with AC after about 7 minutes i speak up and say that i had been messing with the AC for about 15 minutes before calling you, face it. Its not working can you move us to a new room. He continued to mess with the AC and doesnt say a word keeps pressing buttons on ac..... I speak up and say hello why are you ignoring me this is unprofessional. He then says that we have too many complaints that he will refund our money and we can go. This was 1230am we just got in from the Virginia Tech games, no other rooms in the area we had to drive 4 hours home. I have a video of the ac but the site will not let me upload videos. This location is poorly owned.

Was told there where no pet friendly rooms left for my service dog. I could not get a room and had to drive miles up the interstate to a friendly motel 6. The older lady had their computer system crash and she tried to get it running, made several phone calls, still unable to revive the system. Made anothrr call which an another man showed up and finally got system up and then told me they had no room for us.
