The front desk service was very slow. Even though we were the only guests checking in, the process took 15 minutes. We had two rooms, and in both, the bathtubs didn’t drain properly. The shower control knob and the toilet also had issues. My room had noticeable cobwebs, and the mini fridge door fell off. To make matters worse, the breakfast area didn’t open until an hour after the posted time, and the food options was very limited.

The state was positive. The front-desk and other staff were helpful. The hotel is a little dog m-eared could use her a little work. The keys don’t work, and the restaurant is not operation, which is a disappointment about which I may have been notified, but I missed.

Affordable and convenient to highway

Great price, but the hotel is not much to look at. Lol. The bed was just ok but the room was clean. The one thing we really liked was the restaurant connected to the hotel was delicious and convenient for a hot breakfast/dinner, we actually ate there twice. The staff was very friendly and check-in was fast and easy. If you just need a place to rest your head while on the road, I would recommend Quality Inn & Suites in Albert Lea.

Old and needs a serious remodel

The hotel is old to the point it hasa musty smell. The room was not cleaned well.We found food items under the bed and the pillows smelled of smoke. At 3am our last night the fire alarm went due to an issue with the wi-fi. Also only given 2 sets of towels. Never given the wi-fi password.

Don’t stay at this place.

The building was falling apart. The grounds were not maintained at all. The bathroom faucet was broken. The grout was splattered all over the tile in the bathroom. The halls smelled musky. There was a bowl of butter behind a plant in the hallway. The carpeting and furniture were old and gross. The lady who checked us in was super nice. Breakfast was non-existent. She was the only good part of our stay! I’m pretty sure this motel was a meeting place for some working girls too.

This facility is showing its age. And needs to make significant improvements. Staff was polite and helpful but could not overcome the physical challenges of the facility.

Property is worn down, not clean, not maintained. Building stinks like mildew. Must have been a recent water leak because hallways had trash cans trying to catch water. Courtyard is a complete disaster. Staff was friendly. Wouldn't stay again

Since we never stayed here before we were a bit concerned driving into the parking lot and the outside appearance. Checking in was smooth and we were pleasantly surprised that the room was very adequate and our stay turned out just fine.

Average stay overall. Doorlocks to outside door did not work causing a lockout. Room was clean but musty. Breakfast was not what was advertised. Once we finally found the location (had to ask the cleak taking a smoke break outside) we found the options were minimal and much was empty. When replenishment happened, it was frozen sausage patties and frozen eggs we had to nook and the made up more batter for the waffels. Waffel was good. Nooked egg, not so much. Just need a quick noghts sleep? It will do. Staying longer? Try to upgrade just a bit.
