Taos hospitality
We have stayed here multiple times. The staff and awesome breakfast are outstanding. The location is ideal to access the town for shopping and restaurants. Our only minor complaint is the furniture and carpet needs a refresh.

Actually clean if you offer
El Pueblo Lodge is a large complex with a courtyard open space are (we went in winter and didn’t utilize it). We stayed in the upstairs room with a fire place which was huge. The breakfast was a nice touch and appreciated before skiing. We were told they did not have capacity to clean our rooms everyday which was fine. We got a phone call the next day offering to come clean which we accepted. When we came back skiing it had been vacuumed but there was a trash bag on the bathroom counter and a bunch of wash cloths but no body towels. They hadn’t cleaned the toilet or counter and sink. Why offer then?

Excellent Accommodations and Friendly Staff
We loved our stay! The room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was great, and the location was great for walking into town or driving to the ski mountain. The front desk staff was also very helpful and friendly. Would love to stay again!

Quality older motel, unlike today's big chains
Receptionist gave misleading or self benefiting recomendations about restauirants with walking distance (1 mile along busyu road. Older motel, built with quality standards unlike current big chains. Little noticed features such as hand plastered walls, beam ceilings, rope covering of ceiling beam edgings. We shall return.

Mother daughter trip
My daughter and I went to towels for the hot Springs and Hiking. My husband and I have stayed here before and we decided to stay here this time because we loved the breakfast. The tamales were great but this time the tamales were very dry. I found out that they Changed benders. They should go back to the one they have before.

Very nice place to stay in Taos
Nice budget place to stay in Taos. - Easy walk to the central plaza for shops/restaurants - Plenty of parking - Good wifi - Good free breakfast - Guest laundry onsite worked well - Fireplace in the room was very nice to have, and they restocked the firewood every day Would definitely stay here again.

Highly Recommend!
The room was beautiful and comfortable, the stay were very accommodating with my small service dog. The breakfast had a huge variety to choose from and was delicious, the staff helping with breakfast were so pleasant.

The bath/shower drain would not stay open without being propped. There wasn't spare toilet paper (for 2 women, 2 nights). Not enough shampoo, etc. Very noisy with the doors separating us from rooms on each side of our room. When we arrived our entry door was standing open!

I could not sleep! Room 101 has THE worst heater in the world and it came on constantly or you could turn it off and freeze.. your choice. I’ve stayed here before and aside from the thin walls it was always pleasant. Just say no to room 101…

Reallu great stay in Taos
My wife and I love El Pueblo Lodge, from its serene, old school western mountain motel charm and friendly staff to its comfy rooms and fireplaces to it’s fresh baked cookies in the afternoon and its beyond the ordinary New Mexico buffet breakfast.
