Nice, solid, comfortable hotel in many ways, but the electronic stuff needs improvement. They encourage you to download their app and use your phone for check-in, unlocking your door, etc. However, a key is required for the elevator and it doesn’t work for that—at all. A guest rescued me the first time and I thought I’d done it wrong, but no—5 minutes stuck in the elevator waving and sliding my phone from every angle convinced me of that. Didn’t work at all for a 2 night stay. Luckily enough guests were happy to help a stranger.
Room was roasting and the a/c was confusing, but did eventually work—only to turn off again the next day. Kettle didn’t work and I had to use WhatsApp to get another one…no phone.
Don’t get me wrong, I’d stay here again but they definitely need to upgrade their attempts to hire fewer people.
