I'd like to let you know how our experience at your hotel was in december. The booking was under my name, it was my wife and I staying, during the dates 7/12 to 10/12.
Upon arrival we were informed that as you were overbooked, we had been downgraded to a lesser category than what we had paid for. We were offered to instead be upgraded for our remaining 2 nights on the next day. We were also offered breakfast that following morning.
The next day we left the hotel being promised that our bags would be moved to our upgraded room, however coming back, we were in the room category that we originally booked, and not an upgraded category. We let reception know that we of course were not happy with that, and they told us it was miscommunication on their behalf.
We were then showed a couple of rooms that was supposed to be better but was in fact much louder from the street, or one of them even had a smaller bed than before. One of the rooms that we were given the keys to at one point was not even made up properly.
We were not happy with any of the rooms and asked to be moved back to the category that we booked, and instead paid back the difference from the night before.
This was however completely impossible, I was told by the shift leader/reception supervisor.
He only offered us drinks, but that's not very interesting when you are travelling with your pregnant wife, and I told him she was pregnant on multiple occassions.
