Dropping off Daughter for ISU

The hotel was under renovation which was okay we understand it needed refresh and updated . Are room with king bed was very clean nice and quiet but the mattress was horrible it was so hard that we both woke up with back aches and pains , understand that some people like a firm bed but this was bad and the only other issue was the sink faucet when we ran water it must of had a ton of air in the line so it didn’t really come out of faucet correctly it spat and sputtered however the shower worked fine was nice hot and good pressure also liked the soaps and shampoo/conditioner were in pump bottles I liked that also the air was on and worked wonderful also it was a hot day outside and came in to a very nice cool room . Staff was nice at front desk (Jay) let us know that there is a $25 charge that’s on bill but would come off also after are stay that was nice to let us know that . Would stay again if we knew that the mattress was different

Pretty okay

The beds and pillows were confortable. They were under construction, so we expect a little bit of dust and dirt, but there were dead bugs by the elevator. We chose not to have breakfast sinc eit was very limited ( couple types of bagles, yogurt, coffee, and muffins.) We needed to shorten our stay by a day, and they were able to help us with that, but then when others in our family triend to do the same, they ended up getting charged for both nights.

Under renovation

It's hard to stay at a hotel that is undergoing renovation. There was emmense dust and debris in the coordor, breakfast was not a normal hot bar only grab & go, our room lacked normal ammenitites (hair dryer, luggage rack, clean sheets).

Disappointed

The bed was comfortable, the food wasn’t great. Didn’t have options only a bagel or muffin. There was mold on the wall in the bathroom and mold in the tub on the wall. The tub cracked every time you took a step. No ice buckets nor coffee maker in the rooms.

Under renovations as of July 2025. The lobby was under reno as well as all of the 2nd floor. Breakfast was minimal, only bagels, yogurt and coffee. The indoor pool wasn't bad, the water was cool, but the room was hot. My room was comfortable, no issues there. Easy access to the highway, the next exit down is where all the restaurants and shopping is. Close to campus.

Messy and dirty. It’s under construction and there’s paint chips, dust and debris everywhere. Our room was “renovated,” but it is just superficial changes. The shower is old with a new faucet, dings in the door are just painted over, not patched first. Dusty with fingerprints on mirrors and artwork. Double bedroom with only towels for 2, no cups. The hallway was filled with clutter. Save yourself and book elsewhere.

A place to stay

The breakfast was a bit to be desired with only bagels, packages muffins, yogurt, instant oatmeal packets & juice. Coffee was available but in small Styrofoam cups. The hotel is changing to a Spark by Hilton come August so not sure if that will address the breakfast. Room was fine and clean with slightly low water pressure and a cracked sink bowl. The duvets on both beds had small stains.

The room had a very distinct moldy odor that confronted you immediately upon opening the door to the room; however, staff quickly assigned us a different room that did not have this issue.
