非常舒适的酒店

从伦敦坐大巴上午到达酒店，由于下雨就在酒店大堂暂时休息。酒店人员很热情，房间整理好后立即提前给办理了入住手续并升级了房间。升级的房间太好了，大床，大房间，大浴室。虽然是9月，外面下雨刮风白天只有14度，房间暖气很给力！乡下很安静，交通很便利。餐饮很美味而且价格合理。非常适合自驾休闲度假。酒店有电水壶和usb接口。

Good Hotel - Misleading Advertisement

The hotel was nice overall, and the restaurant was superb. However, the customer service at the reception was not to our satisfaction at all. We had booked a “Deluxe Double Room, 1 King Bed, Garden View”. If you see the room photos and description (as shown in photos below as well), they suggest that a shower/tub combination is available. However, when we got there, neither a tub in the room (for which we were very excited), nor even a tub in the bathroom was provided. When we took it to the reception, instead of trying to change our room or provide other means of compensation, he just simply said I cannot do anything for you and you must have called the hotel to confirm if the room you had booked was actually available, and not just trust the website!! This was indeed a misleading advertisement, followed by a poor customer service. I have put actual photos of the room for evidence of the absence of what was advertised on the website.

Not a relaxing stay

The room was clean and comfortable enough but very basic, not sure if there was a faulty fire alarm but it went off at 10pm and 5am which ruined any chance of a relaxing sleep, so would not stay here again. When asked at checkout if the stay was okay I mentioned about the fire alarms and they brushed it off. Additionally we struggled to get a parking space at the hotel.

Stratton House brilliant. Hotels.com dreadful.

Stay at hotel great. Brilliant with dogs! Reception and staff generally extremely helpful. Sadly cannot say same for Hotels.com. Booked room with note I had two dogs. Contacted some time later bye Hotels.com to say I couldn't have dogs in that room and they apparently couldn't get Stratton House to agree to move me to a dog friendly room. ie I had to lose my deposit. Called Stratton House directly myself and they moved me with no issue at all and didn't charge me to move rooms. Would visit Stratton House again but never use Hotels. com again!

Great few days

Delightful few days away, beautiful hotel with everything we needed. Breakfast was great, a wide range of choices. Great location to go out on walks and find nearby pubs. Only downside is there’s nothing to say the spa isn’t included in the price, and the spa doesn’t have a swimming pool. Otherwise it’s very nice!

Love, love love Stratton house hotel

Staff were friendly, really helpful. We come to Cirencester once a month and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The hotel is beautiful, beds are comfortable and it’s really clean, we always have breakfast, which is amazing.

Wonderful hotel, wonderful trip.

It was an incredible stay from start to finish. I had arranged an overnight trip as a gift for my mum for Mother’s Day. When we arrived we were greeted with friendly staff at reception who advised that we had a complimentary upgrade. The room was more than we expected and we are so grateful. Staff in reception and the bar were very helpful throughout. I would highly recommend staying here, such a perfect location and not far from the centre of Cirencester.

Very comfortable stay and good value

Very comfortable stay. Cleanliness of room was excellent and lovely big bed with wonderfully white sheets, pillows and duvet cover. Only a stone's throw from Cirencester centre with a nice pub next door for alternative dining options.

Excellent stay

The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout. The room and bathroom very clean and comfortable. The only criticism was that the mattress was a tad too hard for our liking but that's a personal taste. Apart from that, everything was excellent including the breakfast. Can't wait to stay here again.

Lovely little hotel

Lovely hotel for a short stay, the staff are all friendly and helpful, the room was spacious enough for a travel cot and had a large dressing area and lovely views of the garden. The breakfast and lunch was good, fresh ingredients and well seasoned. My only note would be that the travel cot provided had no mattress (just the thin hard one that comes with a travel cot), as they left a large blanket and sheet I wrapped the sheet around the blanket to make a mattress and it worked very well, little one was comfortable. Would happily stay again.
