Do not hesitate to book a stay with Casa al Sole, this was by far the best stay of our entire 3 week trip. The building is a 5 minute walk from the bus station and the busier shopping area, and a 10min walk from the Seceda lift. We were greeted at check in and given lots of great recommendations on restaurants and things to do. All of the staff was very friendly and helped answer any questions we had. The room was beautiful, and the bar area downstairs was very nice to enjoy a drink and snack at. The breakfast was the best I have ever had at a B&B! Incredible homemade food, and they explained to us what each piece was and where from the local area it came from. We had to check out early the following day, and they were kind enough to pack us a breakfast to go. If/when we are ever back in Ortesei, we will absolutely be staying here again. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

I could give 6 stars. Accommodations are modern yet is 110 year old renewed building. Thanks to Alexandra, Rupi a Manuel, great staff for being great host just acting naturally and very servicial. Great idea for the honesty bar.

Bästa servicen!
Detta hotell var det mest välkomnande hotell jag bott på. Det var harmoni att kliva in. Lugnt, skönt och den bästa servicen. Rummet var modernt och ren design. Vi behövde ingen städning de få nätter vi var där. Utsikt mot bergen från rummet. Kommer gärna igen. Frukosten var perfekt. Serverad vid bordet och med olika specialiteter varje dag.

We had a splendid 3 days stay this weekend . The room was nice with new renovated bathroom . The breakfast which was delicious both in taste, view and healthyness and served by the table where different for every day. We chipsen to have it outside on the terassa. The staff were very pleasent and helpful. Outside big parking free of charge. We give the small hotel our best recommendation.

Very close to town, easy parking, fantastic breakfasts, close to multiple hikes and gondolas, and nice relaxing happy hours! Me and my husband stayed at Casa al Sole for two nights, and had the most unforgettable experience. From the moment we talked to Alexsandra, we could tell we were going to have a fantastic stay. She was so kind, welcoming, and just went out of her way to help us in any way she could. Manuel, who also runs the place, is just an amazing guy as well. He constantly checked in on us, gave us the warmest greetings, and made sure all of our needs were met. The place is beautifully decorated in a minimalist modern aesthetic. The breakfast is absolutely divine; you could tell that they make everything from scratch and only source the best ingredients. It is conveniently located very close to the town, the gondolas and the lifts. Not to mention, it has the most amazing views from the property and the balcony. Casa al Sole has that storybook warmth, charm, and magic that you think only exists in fairytales. Staying here was truly a dream come true. You will be treated like a dear friend and leave with the biggest smile on your face and memories that will last you a lifetime. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Wonderful hosts made us feel very much at home. Upgraded us to a room with a balcony with very nice view. The room would have been still significantly better if they had installed a door to the bathroom, instead of just a curtain. 5 minute walk to ski-lift and to the center of town.
