We had reserved the hotel for a 2 night stay, November 8 and 9, to attend a family wedding and reception on November 9.
Unfortunately, our flight to Denver which was scheduled for the night of November 8, got canceled in the afternoon. So there was no way we could get to Denver that night. Our flight got rescheduled for the morning of November 9. Since we had booked the hotel through Expedia, I went to the Expedia app which gave me an option to contact the hotel.
Dinah, the hotel manager, was sympathetic to our situation. She said we would get a refund for the night of November 8 since we couldn’t get there. I did follow up with her after we got home. She told me she had contacted Expedia who would need to process the refund. After I was able to contact Expedia, we finally did receive the refund, which we appreciated.
The only complaint we have of the hotel was the breakfast. Although there was a good selection of food, the oven wasn’t working the day we had breakfast and the hot items were lukewarm. I assume this was an infrequent occurrence.
