Easy access to Heathrow Express
This was our third stay at this particular Hotel Indigo. (The last was probably 7 years ago.) The hotel is fine, rooms are clean and the expected size for this chain in Europe. The huge gap under the door means you hear everything going on in the hallway, so loud guests coming back at 3am were unpleasant. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We only booked it because we had a very early flight at the tail end of a 2 week trip and it’s very close to the Heathrow Express train. There are better hotels to stay at in the same price range, but overall the staff makes the stay enjoyable, and access to the train is the main reason to stay there.

Decent hotel close to Paddington station.
This is a convenient hotel to Paddington Station. Typical mid-tier hotel, with a very small lobby. Coffee shop/restaurant attached. No working or lounging space. It seems pretty pricey, I guess based on the location. I've stayed twice for the convenience and, meh, it's a hotel. Not much light in the rooms. Beds are comfortable and the AC works well, as that is sometimes in doubt in the UK.

Great location just around the corner from Paddington station. The twin room I shared with my daughter was on the first floor with a view to the front of the building. It was a lovely clean room with plenty of space. The beds extremely comfortable. The hotel was clean and staff were warm/ welcoming and very professional. Would definitely stay here again

Everything But The Bed
The hotel is in a great location, it is spic and span clean, the attached restaurant is AMAZINGLY TASTY!!! The staff was pleasant. That said, I would not go back, nor can I recommend it. Upon check in we were informed that we (two people, one of whom is 6'4" or 1.93 meters tall) had requested a twin bed, but they were going to give us a king bed. Now, I have an email confirming my selection of a king bed. I was charged for a king bed. What we got was a bed that measured (yes we double checked) 135cm x 190cm (roughly 4.5' x 6'). THAT is a European DOUBLE bed, NOT a king sized bed. When we commented on it we were told, correctly, that European bed sizes are smaller than USA's. Yes, we said, we know, but this bed did not meet the measurements of a European king- we checked those specifications before we booked the room. Our staff member, a lovely woman named Maty, told us with a straight face that this was THEIR definition of a king size. They had another king, an elite king, and that one was bigger. Look, the primary reason for a hotel is a safe, clean place to sleep. My boyfriend couldn't sleep. He was longer than the bed. If we need to pay for and book a bigger bed- no problem, but we need to know what we are getting. Don't tell me that I am getting a king, then slip me a double. And WHY would you say I requested a twin???

While the location was great, the hotel rooms need some investment. We had loose floor boards, loose bathroom tile, and the AC didn’t work. We had also requested the room be set up as a king bed but when we checked in, it was two twins. The staff was very nice though.

To say we were dissapointed, is an understatement! We arrived at the hotel at 8:30PM only to be told, we didn't have a room. It later transpired that there was a room but it wouldn't be available until 10pm. We went for dinner, returning to the hotel at 10:30pm only to be told that that there was in fact no room for us. We were then transferred to a neighbouring hotel to a room that was tiny and really wasn't suitable for two people sharing. I would like to know how to make a complaint.

Decent little hotel very close to Paddington tube station so location is excellent Few small problems. The cap on the shower drain was loose, which made an uncomfortable to step on the drain. For two days, I only had scalding hot water in my shower, which was a challenge to negotiate They had me shower in a different room. Besides that front desk, staff were very knowledgable and kind, and I believe the hotel is overpriced

paid more for a garden view room with twin beds - picture looked roomy (for Paddington area) - got a 4th floor room with small windows overlooking the street and barely enough room to walk around the bed - worn out mattress with a big wallow in the middle - lumpy pillows - and I was told that I got upgraded - for $500? - I feel scammed - won’t be staying here again
