Dissatisfactory stay
This has NEVER happened to me in all of the years of travel. And I travel a lot. I had a biz call that ran over and needed an extra half hour to check out. The attendant at the front desk charged me $10 dollars per $10 minutes for this. In addition, I called the desk three times to ask and she answered just to tell me to hold - didn't ask if I could hold - and put me on an endless hold. I was checking out and she did this to someone else who was calling in. I checked out on Sunday at 11:34 am. The night before, I was ordering dinner at the bar to take to my room and there were several people at the bar who are in the military (there for a conference I think) using profoundly bad language and the bartender didn't intervene to ask that they watch their language. There were two tween-age children in the dining room who could hear everything. I saw my receipt today for the extra 30-minute charge. So very petty. This hotel was not busy. I did not know of this brand - Cambria. Not a good experience.
