My grandmother always wanted to stay at The Myrtle’s Plantation. We stayed Saturday night. The staff was very friendly. The cottage was very nice and clean. The tour we took was entertaining. I highly recommend staying an evening at The Myrtle’s Plantation!

Very cool and historic site. Lots of construction going on during out stay, including the noise of constant chain saws when trying to enjoy the nature on the front porch of the cabin. Cabin itself was extremely hot, A/C worked during the day but did not cut on at all during the night time.

My first time staying overnight at the Myrtles. I have wanted to for almost 20 years! It was so pleasant and comfortable. And even though I stayed in a Garden Room which is a newer addition, someone(or something) raised the blind 1/3 of the way on the door after we locked up to go out. Beautiful grounds and great staff. Missed seeing Ms. Ester.

I wouldn't suggest arriving at night if you've never been there. The layout is different, so a little hard to know how to get around with bags and walking.
