Pleasant stay
We did an online reservation and check-in was efficient. It was nice that the woman at the counter was friendly as she was taking care of several guests at the same time. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Even has an elevator to the 2nd floor which several hotels this age do not.

Hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was okay but the only things hot were waffles and coffee, so just a Continental breakfast. Also, toilet seat hinge was broken.

When I first arrived, I was propositioned by some women in the parking lot. Once inside, they told me they would not rent to me because I live in the same city. Then they decided they would. When I got to the room, the room was not very clean and I noticed the window was broken and huge pieces of glass were still in the window frame. At this point I contacted another hotel and stayed with them.

Lots of mold
Walking into the lobby it had a bad smell. The carpet in the hallway to the room looked dirty. As soon as i opened the door and walked in my throat started to swell shut from the massive amount of mold in the bathroom. Went back to front desk and told them we couldn't stay because of the mold. They shrugged their shoulders and said "ok".

Hair was in the bathtub and on the floor. Booger on the sheets. Thankfully there were 2 beds so we didnt have to use that one.. old, outdated, and smelled.

Wish I had paid more to stay at a better place.
The place is way past its prime, needs paint to the common areas. As a female, was a little concerned about the other clientele. I did not feel totally safe. They have a sign that says no Local guests—what does THAT imply?

This was not a quality stay.
The person checking us in was not able to communicate very well in English. The receipt they provided was from a third-party vendor and did not show the amount I actually paid. The TV did not work, and they offered no assistance in getting it to work. They did not provide a wake-up service on the phone. Kids ran the halls all night long.

Room was filthy , had obviously not been cleaned . I had to go to the front desk twice to get it cleaned and even after that the room was still dirty and only had the trash emptied leaving the cigarette butts and ash all over the room .

Maybe think twice
Let me first start off by saying, I did drove by before we decided to stay here. Although I should’ve asked to see a room before booking 3 days. Entry way is acceptable and staff is friendly. Hallways are dark. Rooms are dated, tub backed up entire time was showering. The bed had a cave in the middle that you rolled into in the night. Ceiling in shower had severe water damage. Curtains falling down due to missing hardware. Walls are paper thin heard music, slamming doors and people talking all night long.

It appeared clean; however there were some areas that needed attention (sweeping under bed and table, bathtub needs stain removal). Some fixtures need updated (lamps are a bit rusty). Staff were helpful and friendly.
