Truly I have never had a worse experience at a hotel. The evening started with my friend using the bathroom while I cut my beard. Immediately the toilet was clogged, no worry, surely the front desk would provide a plunger. When the toilet began to overflow I ran to the front desk. Upon requesting a plunger I was told they did not have one, I was astonished but not angry as I was assured the maintenance man would be by in 5 or 10 minutes. So I went back to the room to finish cutting my hair. After about 30 or 40 minutes I returned to the front desk and asked why the maintenance man had not come by yet. He did not come by the entirety of the night. I requested either towels, or a mop. To clean up the mess myself which I was not happy but willing to do. In response he began to shrug his shoulders as if to say I don't know how to help you, and I exclamed. I am not staying in a room covered in toilet water! Once he realized I would not let him go back to his show in peace, he finally led me to the laundry room where I was given two towels to deal with the torrent of water on the floor. To be honest the stay was fine aside from the complete lack of care or willingness on the part of the front desk attendant to even attempt a solution as far as I know. He seemed completely unwilling to do his job. And I will likely never stay with the franchise again.
