My wife and I have enjoyed staying here for a few years now and the Guntersville area has become our home away from home. Staying at the Wyndham at Lake Guntersville has been consistent with it's comfort and service. We look forward to our next visit.

Staff is very friendly. View was beautiful on bottom floor. Labor Day weekend so it was full capacity and a bit loud at night. Pool was nice!! Rooms could be cleaner but the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel overlooking the lake.

Check in was easy. The room and bedding was clean. The hotel is a little older but they had obviously painted recently and put down new flooring. We loved having a room overlooking the lake. We even had a private seating area on the balcony. There is a dock behind the hotel with benches where people could dock boats and some of the guests had fishing rods and were fishing off the dock. It was nice to sit and watch the water at night. We enjoyed our stay and will stay there again next time we go to Guntersville.

Great Place on the Lake

Wonderful place to stay on the lake with great views! Lots of places to sit outside and relax or fish on the pier. The free breakfast buffet was amazing, best I’ve had from hotel. Great location close to everything on the south side of Guntersville Lake! Definitely would stay again.

This hotel is right on Guntersville lake, gorgeous views. Make sure to get a room on the lake side. You'll have your own little patio table with a view. Love this spot. Also a park 1 mile away with a 2 mile track by the lake. The free breakfast was excellent. Don't miss Weztler's Oyster House dine in and Simmons BBQ takeout.

Front desk not very accommodating. Blamed us for keys not working claiming we were putting them next to cell phones or credit cards on 3 different occasions. Asked if the had any paper plates one evening and said they didn’t have any. I asked what do they use for breakfast? She then said I will check and then got me a couple paper plates. Aside from a good room and view, I felt like I was staying at a motel 6 instead of the once great Wyndhams I used to stay at. Times have changed.

This is great spot to enjoy the lake view. You can tell this is an older facility. The rooms are updated with new furniture , bathrooms redone , huge tvs in room but there is visual mildewy situations and bumps and wear. Felt clean aside from that. My husband and I found hair in our breakfasts. Not ideal. Back area on the water our son very much enjoyed. Nice to be on the water.
