Nice, but paper thin walls
The hotel was nice, clean and the staff was awesome. However the walls are paper thin and our neighbors kept us awake. Not a party, just talking like they were in bed with us.

The accommendations were decent. The room was clean but the carpet could stand a good deep cleaning. The desk clerk Brandon was excellent.

The final day of 2020
We checked in and were given a set of keys to our room. The keys didn't work so we got a new set. They didn't work so we brought all of our stuff back down to the lobby and the one person working was not there. We were calling his name and no answer. I called the front desk on my phone and no one came to the front desk. 10 minutes later the guy reappeared without a mask on. Also one of the elevators wasn't working and nothing looked clean. We got a new set of keys to another room. When we went to that room the keys didn't light up but the door opened. We put our stuff in the room and were going to leave but when we tried the door it didn't need a key to open it. We loaded all of our stuff up again to go back to the lobby for the third time. He gave us another set of keys to another room. Also, the outside door was broken to enter the hotel. Those keys did work and the room was ok. When we checked in we were not told check out time or what time breakfast would be. We thought checkout would be 11 or 12. We had the do not disturb sign on the door and at 11:01 housekeeping knocked on the door. 5 minutes later the phone rang and asked when we would be leaving the room. We told the front desk about our situation and she took the information down. No one has called us from the hotel and she said they had put someone in the room that had the broken door. We will never stay here again and will tell others visiting Wilmington to avoid this hotel.

This property was very nice, the bed was extremely comfortable, room was nice, and staff was friendly, had on masks along with every guest, and was cleaning regularly which was nice. My only critiques are the staff not knowing what to do our how to answer questions one morning when the power went out for about an hour (but she seemed like she was a new employee) and we Didn't get to enjoy to indoor pool nor the gym due to Covid (which was a bummer but understandable). Overall. Excellent Hotel. It's close to everything and about 15 - 20 minutes from the beach. So Definitely would stay again!

The bed and room was great, my husband and I talked about how nice the sheets were! When we arrived she needed my card for damages but charged me again for the room. I was immediately refunded. Then the day of check out we were charged an additional $69 and 5 days later I’m still waiting for my refund that they have processed twice now. Great room but the staff needs to pay attention the charges they are submitting to their guests. We won’t stay again for that reason.

Double standard?? Very unreasonable...
Drove to this hotel from out of town, but I was in my wife’s car and realized about half way there that I did not bring a mask. I walked into the hotel and there were 3 people at the bar (without masks) a bartender with a mask, and the main receptionist with a mask hanging from his ear (he was sitting down at a table in the lobby). He said he could not check me in because I did not have a mask, even though he was not wearing his mask at the time, which he claimed was because he was eating. I asked if I could purchase one because I had forgotten mine and they said they did not have any available. Finally, one of the gentlemen in the bar offered to give me a mask from his car since he had an entire box. I get my room keys, and he has given me the furtherest room in the hotel, and the keys didn’t work. SO I have to go back again and he gives me a different room (very close). The next morning when I went down for breakfast, both staff members were not wearing masks...so is it a policy, or do some of the staff members just feel the need to humiliate guests during check in??

There was one staff at regustration that was very unpleasant. The other was fine, not great not bad. Many issues with elevator. EVERY guest we talked to walked up and down the stairs regardless of floor because they did not trust that the elevators were safe or would function properly.

I appreciated the shuttle service.The pool was closed , we were counting on it with 8 kids. The room was not clean.
