OK, hookah bar was a surprise
Nice location. Important to know going in it's urban and a boutique hotel. So parking is fine but another cost and a couple blocks away. We missed having a coffee/tea maker in the morning. There was a quirk that they converted their lobby into a hookah bar, which was not on the hotels.com photos. We were there as a family so that was weird, but we also were not affected by it because we were not out late at night if there was a crowd.

One Night Only
Check- in was easy and the staff were friendly. The hotel is one of the art deco buildings so it's old. Many areas have been renovated but you can still tell its old. Located one block from ocean dr, you can walk to the beach. With that being said, it's in the heart of south beach so it's loud. The bar downtowns is open to the public and plays music like club hours. I'm not sure if it's everyday or just weekend. Water was hot (rain shower head), no toilet papper holder, and no hand towels. Wall heating/ cooling worked fine and beds were comfortable. If you are looking for a budget friendly hotel in the heart of South Beach and are not too concerned with noise or aesthetics, I definitely recommend.

Great Stay in the Heart of South Beach!
Room was great and clean. No problems with the hot water. Our Hot water was fine. Only stayed one night but will definitely stay again!

Good overall for price
Good location near the beach for the price and enjoyed the Art Deco look. We came on a family visit and there were many other families as well. There was a surprise-they redid their lobby into a hookah bar, which is not shown in the photos. If the bar was busier this would have been awkward to navigate to get to room. Looked like they were shifting to a different theme and a different kind of customer. It is boutique therefore not standard but we were frustrated with lack of coffee/tea, no toilet roll holder, didn't like pillows, lack of chairs, few other things. Parking was fine, offsite.

Place to stay or a night club
Walked into the lobby and there was loud music playing and it was hard to hear the lady behind the counter. After we left the lobby and finally found our room everything was good

We have stayed here before but this time around it was so noisy outside of our room. Also the bath tub and a huge whole right in the center covered with a mat and something like black silicone…. It looked dangerous
