As a refresher of our experience, which is all listed in the chats we had with expedia, we arrived to the hotel on 7/30/25 and we were given a room key around 3pm. By 315pm we made our way to the room, saw and experienced the condition the room was in and immediately began contacting Expedia and the hotel staff to start the refund process. We were completely out of the room no later than 330pm - approx. 15 min after arriving. Some of the reasons we had to leave are listed here:
Lina has very severe asthma and while the hotel is designated non smoking, almost the entire facility, including the room we were issued, reeked of cigarette and marijuana smoke. Upon entering the room, Lina immediately began having asthmatic issues, difficulty breathing, and chest tightness and she had to use her rescue inhaler. When we brought this up to the hotel management - they offered to respray the room with smoke odor remover - which does absoutely nothing for the contaminants in the room or for Lina's asthmatic concerns.
