The worst hotel room Ive ever stayed in.
Upon arriving at the hotel, the office desk was a huge mess of papers and the desk clerk couldn't find our reservation until I provided the confirmation email. The toilet paper holder was broken and missing most of its parts. The toilet itself sounded like it was filling the tank but actually wasnt. It ran the entire night. To flush the toilet I had to fill the trash can with water from the bath tub and fill the toilet tank manually to be able to flush the toilet. There were no wash clothes. The parking lot was completely disgusting even containing womens hygiene products.

Terrible
The stay here was awful. Our heat/ac didn’t work so we froze all night. The bathroom was dirty and the tub had tape in it to “fix” repairs and the drain was broke as well. Our fridge also didn’t work, which we didn’t realize so when we woke up our drinks were warm. I did speak with the front desk person, but he didn’t seem to care nor apologized. We will NEVER stay here again.

Terrible
The most nasty room I have ever seen. The room was not even cleaned when we complained they offered us another room that wasn't cleaned either. We left because they would not honor their end of the deal to offer a clean and ready room and they took our money. You should avoid this place!

Cheap, but service unreliable
Using a basic search, this was the least expensive chain hotel location in the general Gatlinburg area. We stayed at this hotel for a week starting on the night of December 24. The room lacked clean towels after checking in, but I was able to get them from the front desk. The room smelled good (i.e., no smells from smoke). The main service problem was that the reception area wasn't able to provide any coffee reliably after the main coffeemaker apparently died on December 25 and that there was no maid service any time for our room during the seven night stay that we had. Part of this was inevitably because it was during the Christmas holiday; the hotel was probably only about 5% or 10% occupied on the nights of the 24th and 25th, so many employees apparently had the time off. This was still a good value for the price that we paid.

Days Inn South, Pigeon Forge ⭐☆☆☆☆ I’ll start by saying that check-in was the only bright spot of my stay. The receptionist was friendly, and I had high hopes as I made my way to the room. However, things quickly spiraled downhill. First impression? Leaves. Everywhere. The parking lot and drifted walls under the AC units looked like the aftermath of a leaf tornado. It’s fall—understandable? No, It’s late December! along with the un-swept area away from the office.Inside the room, it appeared clean at first glance, but then I noticed the beds. No blankets on top, just tucked under the sheets. Why? To conceal cigarette burn holes! Cozy. A conference and meeting center with No ice and only one bar Wi-Fi.Then came the saga of the missing TV remote. I was told one would arrive “shortly.” Three hours and three requests later, I finally received it, only to discover that using the TV required me to provide my email and credit card details. Seriously? After explaining this to the front desk, they assured me someone would come to reset the device. No one ever came.Day two brought the same issue, a new person at the desk, the same promise, and still no help.Their reasoning? “It was a busy day” as she walked off with her clipboard.The last night, a LARGE group of non-English speaking guests located at the end of the unit decided to turn the parking lot into a club, complete with two bass-bumping trucks. Sleep came later when the blue lights arrived. Where was the management.

Rude and disrespectful manager
Did not stay the night but was charged anyway. Room was terrible and filthy. The manager was rude and unprofessional when I inquired about a room change. She just told the clerk to give me a refund, which they denied when they were contacted. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I understand they are renovating but when I asked about a different room that’s when the disrespect and lies began. The owners need to take a long look at the management and renovate that as well. There were other issues while we were there but that’s not for me to discuss on here.
